Tried to log in and it says invalid email/password combination, so I tried resetting my email but it says it’s invalid. Tried signing up again thinking there was an issue in that area but it says I’ve already signed up so now I’ve got an app that I can’t even use ### 1/5 — Notifications *2020-08-28, version 1.3.0* Lately notifications are sporadic, some days you receive them and some you don’t. Hopefully you’re working on the problem because as a Tester, time is of the essence in order to grab a test cycle. ### 2/5 — Log in issues *2020-07-18, version 1.2.0* I’m having problems logging into the account,it says that the email or the password is invalid,son check and everything was right (i checked with the computer) and when I try to log in again it says the it is invalid,i have change the password and everything and it doesn’t let me in.help ### 1/5 — No! *2020-07-09, version 1.2.0* Try and sign up and the loading symbol remains there and nothing loads! Do not download. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2020-03-14* For the one day that it actually worked I still had to use the browser to take a survey that I was notified about by email. Now when I log in it just immediately logs back out, but it’s still sending me the same notification every 2 mins, blowing up my phone, which is an old notification and I’ve already checked it. The app is not functional *2026-05-06, version 3.1.7* Can someone that works on this app please contact me? In addition to the login page refresh bug we are now not able to claim any slots via the uTest app and it gives a “network error” on both iOS and Android apps on any internet connection. Please fix this. We cannot use this app in its current state. ### 1/5 — Zero communication *2026-04-03, version 3.1.6* What does it take to get a response from this company. I can’t access my account anymore since their new update and I’ve reached out via every possible way and get NOTHING. Not even acknowledgement of the communication. Edgar Arvizu Cortes do better and make our accounts available again or stop emailing me about projects you clearly aren’t giving me access to. 😒 ### 1/5 — Horrible support personnel *2026-02-18, version 3.1.5* I was a long term user of uTest. Since they implemented MFA I have not been able to access my account even though I am still getting emails about projects. I have sent FOUR emails asking for help. I have also emailed two different project managers and have received no response from anyone. I would like to work on their projects, as 30 year plus test engineer, I feel I would be an asset, but I can’t get into my account. I also can find no other way to contact support. I don’t know what happened because this use to be a fun place to make a little extra cash, but somewhere things when bad. So sad to see such a drop in quality. ### 1/5 — Can’t log in *2025-09-24, version 3.1.1* They wont’t let you log in. At first I tought it was my email the problem because they say wrong email or wrong password so I created a new email with a new password and I try to log in but they still won’t you log in! I don’t know what’s the problem there ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2025-03-19, version 3.0.1* Don’t waste your time. They will send you a ton of emails asking you to fill out pre selected surveys then they never get back to you. Absolutely a waste of time. ### 1/5 — Incompetent staff *2024-05-30, version 2.6.0* I have brought up an issue I have been having to one of their staff members, and rather than presenting me with a solution to the problem, like sending an email back stating that he will look into it and see what’s going on and get back me at an early convenience, or just send me the information of when and where the project will be starting or how I can participate, he has continued to present the same problem to me, without solution. I’m very annoyed, and also, wondering how people like this have jobs. The level of incompetence is absolutely baffling to me. And if he’s doing this on purpose, to frustrate me, I would highly advise him to focus more on his career and how to better himself, rather than being a nuisance to me, because I refuse to believe someone is THIS STUPID. ### 1/5 — Disregard *2023-02-13, version 1.20.0* This app are trying to play more games like cheating with the work for employees For first time for 3-4 test they pay correctly then latter on all the test which all you do will be rejected by saying rubbish things If you go with TTl reporting such activities they just terminate your account without any explanation So I personally recommend not to go with it ### 1/5 — Not usable. Keeps popping up errors. *2022-01-24* Many issues: - the app consistently pops up "network error" messages (doesn't matter whether on Wifi or cellular network, only this app complains) making it almost impossible to open a test case: acknowledging it reloads the main page. - issue templates are not supported - the messaging does not refresh properly messages nor the message notification icon. If you get a message, reply to it then close the window, the notification icon will stay red (unread messages) and if you click on it you will see the message received but not your own response. **Developer response:** Hi Sean, We are very sorry for the inconvenience you faced. Happy Testing, Rahit ### 1/5 — Sign up / log in *2021-11-27, version 1.9.0* This app desperately needs to be tested! Once I signed up it redirected me to sign up page again. Tried it 3 times. Does it again and again. No email confirmation about creating an account. Can’t log in, not even sure if I created it. Awesome! ### 4/5 — User friendly *2021-01-12* I am using this app almost every day since it’s beta release. It’s very user friendly and notifications made my day especially when my test case or bugs been approved. At times I have observed a slightly latency especially when there are multiple links referring to some excel files or any other pages; but overall I am happy with the usage. ### 3/5 — Not a scam but needs improvement *2025-07-16, version 3.1.0* Unlike the other reviews saying it’s a scam, it isn’t. The app is actually quite good and is a good alternative to the website. What puts me off using it though is the need to log in every time I use the app. It doesn’t prompt to recall a saved password or OFA code so I have to go to a different app to look it up. Honestly if this was resolved I’d rate the 5 stars instead. ### 3/5 — Sometimes works, other times doesn’t *2021-11-27, version 1.9.0* Sometimes this app works as it states, but more often than not it doesn’t show my invitations or my active tests. Nonetheless, this app does not work very well. Often I’m unable to login. Some other times, it frequently produces “network disconnected” errors for no apparent reason. Also features such as browsing for new projects, payment histories, etc, should not be left out as these are pretty easy to implement. ### 2/5 — About as bad as their website *2022-09-06, version 1.15.0* It is hard to say which one is worse though… ### 2/5 — Please, bring the notifications sound back!! *2022-03-15, version 1.11.0* I only use this app only to receive notifications because everything else is much easier to do on web/mweb. However, build 1.11.0 doesn’t have any notification sounds so the app is useless. The previous build duplicated notifications which was pretty annoying but not having a sound on notifications - the only helpful feature in the app when other features cannot even be compared with web - this is something! Very disappointed :( **Developer response:** Hello Asyasha, We never want our testers to face this kind of issue! However, we are unable to reproduce the notification sound issue.
