Now I can’t use anything. Not even open the app. It’s asking for birthday but there is no option to add the date. Poor technical updates. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Poor Service *2026-01-01* I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Utkarsh Small Finance Bank’s outdated, inefficient, and customer-unfriendly approach. In today’s digital era, almost every bank in India completes KYC fully online, yet your bank insists on a physical branch visit. This reflects a very old-fashioned mindset and poor process design. Despite submitting all required KYC documents, my son’s account continues to remain debit frozen, which is completely unacceptable. This clearly indicates either gross inefficiency or complete lack of accountability, particularly at your Vashi branch, which I can confidently say is one of the worst-managed branches I have dealt with. ### 1/5 — Worst Bank *2025-11-26* My bank account was frozen twice in 6 months. I got my KYC done 6 months ago. After 6 months it was frozen again for KYC. I have made three rounds till now. The bank people are not having any effect. I am not able to make any payment for the last 20 days. Address verification has also been done. After that they are saying to submit the latest Aadhar card. Every time they are giving some new requirement. My most earnest request is that please do not get an account opened in Utkarsh Small Finance Bank..Sector 15 branch Gurgaon. **Developer response:** Dear Sir, Thank you for your time. Go and hire someone good who can resolve your concerns. ### 1/5 — Froze the bank account *2024-09-06* Opened the bank account so I can get more interest compared to other banks, well bad decision. They froze the account one fine day and I only came to know when I tried a debit transaction, no SMS or Email why they froze bank account no communication. Such a bad service. Do NOT I repeat do not open accounts with such banks. Raised issue with customer care and finally they came with an update that sir your account is blocked. Told those stupids I can see that. Why its blocked they don’t know. A bunch of headless chickens opened a bank and named UTKARSH SMALL FINANCE BANK ### 1/5 — App unable to do sms verification in IOS *2024-02-17* The app experience in ios is very frustrating. I have been trying to login to my account. But the sms verification never seems to go through. The sms is sent from my phone however the response timeouts after a while. ### 1/5 — No Online ASBA and Different limits for NetBanking and Mobile Banking *2024-01-29* I don’t understand why you don’t have online ASBA facility!!! Generally, SFBs are looking for more funds and functionality of online IPOs via ASBA is one of the great ways to bring in more and more money inside the bank! Why you still don’t develop this functionality? I have to move out money outside USFB to invest in IPOs. Also, please help me understand why the fund transfer limits are different in both Phone banking and Net banking???? How does it affect security???? No other bank does this, are you the only smartest bank in the world trying to become more secure just with this meaningless system??? ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on iOS! *2023-12-29* The team has done pathetic work in terms of gaining trust of ios users. App doesn’t work for eSIM cards, it says it cannot detect the sim card and app exits. Even their customer care is pathetic in terms of creating a ticket and resolving it.
