### HOW IT WORKS

Turn on Location Services and make sure your device is connected to the Internet.

The app will detect your location and show the UV Index for the selected location. You can also search for other cities, save favorite locations, and check the forecast for the following days.

The UV Index was developed to raise awareness of the risks associated with excessive exposure to solar radiation through a collaboration between the World Health Organization, the United Nations Environment Programme, the World Meteorological Organization, and the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP).
