### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2024-02-04, version 12.20.003*

The wait is kind of long, but at least we are home instead of doing the same wait out in public. So no complaints on wait time. The only issue I had was the repetition of adding insurance info. Our family all has the same insurance, so having to enter it in separately for each child was obnoxious.

### 4/5 — Sometimes quick and efficient care

*2023-01-03, version 12.10.003*

When I was able to reach a provider they were kind and quick and efficient! However the first time I was waiting for a physician for a long time almost 2 and a half hours! I am unsure if it was connection issues or if the provider stopped working but it left me nervous. My second attempt was much quicker.

### 5/5 — Parents Plz READ! Don’t hesitate!

*2021-11-19, version 12.10.003*

As a mom of 4 and 17 year BSN, RN I HIGHLY recommend this app and practitioners. Our daughter had a sore throat, stayed home PER the covid survey regulations. It was negative. Her sore throat recurred. As a mom and nurse, I hesitated and treated symptoms with a close
eye on her changing condition. BECAUSE our city’s COVID rate has skyrocketed, getting into our pediatrician was a 2 day wait. Urgent care was a “projected” 3 hour wait. NO strep test kits were available for purchase and CVS not Walgreens actually HAD strep screeners or kits available for purchase. We moved from another state where the pharmacist would perform the swab and contact a physician and treat the situation that was proven as the cause. Well, NONE of that was available. I watched my daughter and as the evening hours grew into night, her symptoms became worse. We finally just pushed our hesitancy aside and used this app. The practitioner was focused, attaching a video was easy, he reviewed it even before we spoke, he was thorough, comfortable to speak with, offered ALL treatment options and ideas, listened to our child and us parents AND made a rational decision at 9:30pm. He even waited for us to search up pharmacies that were open. I recommend that you use this service 100% if it fits the perimeters listed. I appreciate that he understood where we were coming from, as parents, and as an educated nurse AND experienced mother. I feel like he asked very appropriate questions, listened to our concerns, took into account our daughters symptoms and the situation we are in with the lengthy wait times. I am BEYOND pleased with his assessment, rationale and treatment plan. Of course the follow up will fall to the accountability of us parents AND a properly scheduled pediatrician visit IF the treatment plan doesn’t work. His notes and plan were IMMEDIATELY available in our daughter’s MyChart for review with our known doctor. I HIGHLY recommend the use of this service. I hope that this service becomes more widely accepted by ALL insurance plans. It’s a serious NEGATIVE that anyone other than Quartz carriers have to pay upfront. I feel, that under our current circumstances with COVID, this service SHOULD 100% be covered by ALL insurance. It’s faster, equitable, more private and WAY more safe to have this service. If you have read this far and are still on the fence, I understand. I just HIGHLY recommend you try it. At the worst, you’ll be sent to a ER/Urgent care ANYWAY….on the positive, the practitioner will be attentive and treat the concern for a minimal wait time, minimal infection exposure risk TO YOU, be able to prescribe a treatment that would help faster.

### 5/5 — Thank you

I’m so grateful I was able to do a video visit from home and not expose others to COVID. My provider was very thorough and I was so impressed with my first experience on telehealth.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-02-09, version 12.22.200*

Spent over an hour setting up everything and waiting for my appointment just to get connected to a PA I couldn’t barely hear or see at all. Talked about everything and said she put in a prescription and ended up the call. I let my review. My card was charged and she never put in my prescription.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2024-01-30, version 12.20.003*

Please work on your app, I have spent an hour trying to get an appointment. It would not take my card I had to speak with support twice and the second time when I thought it was fixed it kicked me off again. I tried my phone and computer and nothing worked. This was so frustrating, I hate dealing with the UW!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect to anyone

*2022-11-30, version 12.10.003*

This worked a year ago but every time I try to use it in the past 4 months, it will stall out at the “you’re next in line” or “your visit will begin shortly” screen. It will take up to an hour sometimes and still the visit hasn’t started. It will also kick me off.

### 1/5 — Provider Unable to Prescribe Medication

*2022-09-09, version 12.10.003*

I used this method of video visit a year ago when I pulled my lower back and was prescribed Cyclobenzaprine. This medication has always been the solution when I have experienced similar back pain about once a year for the past few. The provider stated she was not allowed to provide this medication via a video visit… although the provider was very nice, it should be clearly stated that they have apparently been given strict rules that prohibit they’re ability to provide medications. What’s the point of a video visit, if the final result is going to urgent care.

### 1/5 — This app is awful to use and is not accessibility friendly

*2022-05-19, version 12.10.003*

Shame on uw’s developers for creating an app no elderly person could use.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-03-16, version 12.10.003*

The app crashed as soon as I was connected to a provider. The provider eventually called me and told me to come in to the clinic, defeating the purpose of the app.

The app also requires extensive data entry, which is difficult in an urgent situation. I had to look up some of the info in the provider’s own EMR system (MyChart).

### 1/5 — No customer service

*2020-03-19, version 11.4.301*

Spent over 5 hours waiting for a doctor. Then when the app told me I was the next patient waited over an hour for them. At the same time I opened the app on another device to only find that the doctor is no longer on-line. I search through the app and finally found an 844 phone number and go figure, nobody answers the phone. You just keep getting a message saying “please stay on line for the next agent.” That’s repeated roughly ever 30 seconds with no other message. After an hour I hung up. Just a company that is willing to charge $49 and get no service. Your better off calling your own doctor or go to emergency room, at least you can see a real person and not a recording.

### 3/5 — Once you get a provider it’s great

*2025-07-12, version 12.22.301*

Spent about an hour waiting for a provider. The first one almost immediately declined me. The second, I spent 30+ minutes waiting only to cancel and find out he was offline. The last one I was able to get ahold of within 15 minutes and the actual consult was very quick and professional.

For the app developers, I’d recommend making sure that if a provider goes offline while a patient is waiting, the patient is reassigned or notified that the provider is offline.

### 3/5 — Good but could be improved

*2021-08-15, version 12.10.003*

The audio and video quality of this app is great but it makes you retype a lot of different preferences and seems to delete things without notice. This could be improved

### 4/5 — Quick and easy appointment but no insurance billing

*2024-09-20, version 12.21.103*

I was seen within 5-6 minutes of my request. I recently moved from Boston to WI 2 months ago and needed a vital prescription refill. I don’t have a PCP or mental health practitioner, yet. The PCP wait time is one year from now. Fortunately, I had a letter from my psychiatrist detailing my history and treatment plan. I was able to get my refill easily. The PA-C went through my entire chart to make sure my records were correct. She sent a note to the welcome of my new insurance provider about helping me find a PCP because ongoing care could be compromised. I have used telehealth for over 5 years and this experience was as good (somewhat better) than any I’ve had previously.

The biggest problem is that the insurance verification system was offline so I had to pay $67 to be seen and will have to get reimbursed. Fortunately, I have an HSA so this wasn’t a barrier to receiving care but it could be for others.

### 5/5 — Quick!

*2026-04-01, version 12.22.500*

My provider was kind and efficient. He the time to do some education with me. This service was also great. I have work today and would have had to ask for quite a few favors to leave early to go to urgent care. Very pleased.

### 5/5 — Works great

### 5/5 — Efficient

*2025-03-01, version 12.22.200*

It was easy to sign up. I did not wait long for a provider. Dr.Lee listened to me. We had a great conversation and he chose the best option for me at the time.
I am very grateful for having the ability to utilize telemed visit and not going to urgent care to wait for two hours.

### 5/5 — Video Visit

*2024-07-26, version 12.21.006*

Dr. Christopher Wither’s was very professional and assisted me well. He ordered a prescription that I am able to pick up tonight. If I would not have been able to connect with him I would of had to go to the ER when I returned to Madison, WI this evening. Thank you for your service. Patti Jackson

### 5/5 — Quick

*2023-06-15, version 12.10.003*

### 5/5 — SO grateful for this option

*2022-05-08, version 12.10.003*

It’s Mother’s Day and a Sunday and one of my children woke up with pink eye. Instead of dragging her into Urgent Care on Mother’s Day, I simply did a video visit with a doctor from our home that took around 10 minutes between wait time/consult time, and he called in the meds for her that we will pick up soon. Thank you for this option!

### 5/5 — Wonderful service!

*2022-05-07, version 12.10.003*

This was a wonderful experience for my first time using this! Thank you so much!

### 5/5 — Child video visit

*2022-03-12, version 12.10.003*

We had a wonderful visit with Dr. Gregory. We were able to speak to and see him in less than 10 minutes - signing up for app included. Being able to upload photos for him to review prior to the visit and him having access to her files was extremely helpful. We will definitely be using this option again!
