## What is uWave?

uWave is the simple, private check-in app for families and close knit groups.

Whether you're hiking solo, driving late, or just want your people to know you made it — uWave makes it effortless to stay connected.

Check in with one tap. 
- Share your location and let your group know you're safe. 
- No posts, no feeds, no noise
- Just a simple signal that says "I'm good."

Set a timer, heading out for a few hours? 
- Set an expected return time. 
- Your group gets a notification if you don't check back in
- No action required on your end.

SOS alerts
 - In an emergency, hold the SOS button for 3 seconds to instantly alert everyone in your groups with your last known location.

Private by design
- No ads. No social features. 
- Your location is only shared when you choose to check in, and only with people in your group.

Stay in the loop
- Get notified when group members check in
- Miss a timer, or send an SOS — even when the app is in the background.
