The study content is great the ability to make flashcards on the go is very helpful. I like the way to study plan is set up to help you reach your goal date. One issue I’ve been having is that every time I open the app and log in, I have to try three or four times before I can access the study material. I’ve used other study apps and never had an issue like this. Another thing is that the video lectures tend to lag behind the audio. I also wish these lectures could be put on auto play, so you can move from one to the next without having to go back to the main screen. The video lectures cut out and buffer randomly which is super annoying. Sometimes you need to restart the entire app just to get the video to keep playing. The videos also restart from the beginning when you press the pause button. However, this isn’t feature isn’t available on the actual phone app. If the study planner from the website gets integrated into the app, my review would change into a 5 star. ### 2/5 — Basic *2025-05-29, version 4.5* This app feels very basic. They have added some much needed updates such as listening to videos in the background. However, the biggest annoyance which hinders my progress is the buffering and the videos dropping audio. When you are 30 minutes into a video and need to pause, it is a massive time waster to guess where you were at when you hit pause. Please fix this. It makes videos unwatchable ### 2/5 — App is too basic; useless textbook *2024-11-30, version 4.3.1* My main concern with this iPad app is that the textbook has tons of extra spaces inside words, splitting them into multiple pieces - the textbook is almost impossible to read, it’s useless. I do not have this issue on the website. There is no auto-play for the lessons, so don’t expect to be able to listen to the lecture during your commute.( unless you plan on looking at your phone while driving to change lessons every 8 minutes) You can’t scroll on some images in the quizzes as it will just take you to the next question. You can’t shuffle all the flashcards . Must delete and download every time the app is used. It remains in portrait when you turn the phone to the side. It is very hard to see on your phone. If you can’t put the video on landscape because the words are too small. Which means usually having to pull out my phone and restart the app in order to get sound back. I have an iPhone 15. ### 1/5 — Shockingly Bad *2023-11-21* - You can’t download videos - You can’t read the textbook in landscape mode and if you increase the font size to a readable level you have to scroll left and right for each sentence because they are using a pdf like format, rather than something that can adapt to your screen. And the textbook doesn’t save your spot, which doesn’t really matter since the textbook is pretty much unusable. I’m only using this app because UWorld acquired Wiley. I pad a lot of money for it, and I’m getting an app that could be created in an afternoon. I hope there is a lawsuit. If you haven’t purchased this yet, go with someone else. You would be much better off buying a few used college textbooks for fraction of the cost than going with UWorld/Wiley. ### 1/5 — Trash app, I want a refund *2023-11-19, version 4.0* So trash, I payed a ton for this course and needed these videos to work for me while I’m studying on the go.
