### 4/5 — An Incredible App- Better If You’re Willing To Pay

*2025-05-31*

I was pretty skeptical downloading this app, but Uxcel Go totally surprised me — in a good way.

🖼 First Impressions & UI

The login page was the first thing I saw, and it had a few issues on my small screen. Also, the “Sign in with Google” button being the only purple box felt out of place.
But once I got in? Smooth. Clean. Sleek. The UI was simple and intuitive, with nice rounded edges that gave it a modern vibe.

📚 Learning & Features

You can either dive into the theory or go straight to the quiz — which I loved. The lessons were organized, informative, and engaging. My only gripe? The theory sections sometimes have a LOT of text, and it’s easy to get lost if you’re not focused.

🚀 Performance

Flawless. It ran super smooth, and I didn’t notice any bugs or crashes. Big win.

💸 Cost & Access

Now here’s the catch… You only get the first unit of each course for free. After that, you need a Pro Subscription. Same thing that happened with Mimo, and yes — my heart shattered again.

🎯 Final Thoughts

This app is amazing if you’re serious about learning UI/UX and willing to pay. If not, you’ll probably feel stuck pretty fast. But content-wise? It’s top-tier.

Overall: Incredible app — just be ready to open your wallet.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the detailed and thoughtful review — we truly appreciate it! 🙌 We're glad Uxcel Go surprised you in a good way and that you found the design and learning experience smooth, engaging, and intuitive. We're taking note of your UI feedback, especially regarding smaller screens and the sign-in flow.

Regarding access, we understand that the Pro subscription can feel limiting—we’re constantly exploring ways to expand the free learning experience while keeping our e-learning platform sustainable. Your comparison to Mimo is noted, and we’re grateful for your transparency.

Thanks again for sharing your journey with Uxcel Go. Your feedback helps us keep improving. Happy learning! 💡📱

### 5/5 — AMAZING for UX Desifn

*2025-01-29, version 1.7.0*

I just wish they had a student discount or free version to access all the material. It’s very pricey, but you can access a lot for free too.

### 4/5 — The app is good!

*2025-01-09*

The app is good but the subscription is way too expensive.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! The Uxcel Go app offers a comprehensive e-learning experience to help you learn design and improve your UX&UI skills. We understand pricing concerns and occasionally offer discounts on our yearly plans. Keep an eye out for special offers, and feel free to reach out to support@uxcel.com for more details!

### 5/5 — A real resource

*2024-12-29*

Often, learning tools don't give enough, barely touch the surface, or are very rudimentary.

Not Uxcelpro. This app is a well-built library of all the information needed to learn UX/UI effectively. From the time of lessons to the quality and difficulty of the exams, arcades, leaderboards, projects, assessments, job boards, and certifications, everything is done just right.

An example would be how lessons have videos attached to them to demonstrate an action, etc. Or how the leaderboards exist, yet they are not overpowered like Duolingo. Yeah, you can get to the successive league if you score x number of points, but we aren't going to harass you with that kind of vibe. The arcade games are a good challenge to test your skills and hone your design abilities. They get incrementally tricky as you go.

For me, the most beneficial part of this app is that the exams are not so easy. They are worded in a way that enables you to think and actually know the concept instead of just recalling obvious words. I've had to redo certain lessons just to fully grasp the content. To me, that's a sign of a legitimate education platform.

All I'm saying is that I am ten times more confident in my learning path with this resource gem. I don't use it as my primary education tool, but it easily can be used as so.

**Developer response:** Thank you for such detailed and thoughtful feedback! We're thrilled to hear how much value you find in the Uxcel Go app. Our goal is to provide an immersive e-learning experience for UX/UI design through engaging courses, skill challenges, and meaningful assessments. Keep honing those UX&UI skills—you're doing amazing! 🚀

### 5/5 — Good for what it does

*2024-12-15*

Easy and fun way to learn. Would be helpful to have the study page shown after correct answers to solidify knowledge. The format is suitable for certain courses but not for others. It’s a nice attempt at teaching UX Research for example but it just doesn’t really compare to a long form course with actual coursework. Some open ended questions would be nice.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your valuable feedback! We're glad to hear that you find Uxcel an easy and fun way to learn. We appreciate your suggestion about displaying the study page after correct answers to reinforce knowledge, and we'll take it into consideration for future improvements. We also understand that different learning formats suit different topics, and we're continuously exploring ways to enhance the UX Research experience. Your idea about open-ended questions is insightful, and we’ll keep it in mind as we refine our courses. Stay tuned for updates, and happy learning! 😊

### 5/5 — I love this app

*2024-12-05, version 1.6.1*

As a junior UX designer it helps me freshen up on topics, test my knowledge and learn new tricks that help me in my work!

### 5/5 — INTUITIVE AND PLAYFUL

*2024-11-28*

I have been using Uxcel since 3-4 months but I recently bought the pro subscription and I must say it’s all worth it. I really like the way the study material is shown in such a playful manner. The UI is neat yet colourful.
I love the streak part. . It really encourages me to maintain it and study at least for 15 mins. Being a working professional it’s to difficult to study everyday.
Looking forward to studying and learning as much as I can.
Overall, it’s a 10/10 for self taught designers like me. ✨❤️

**Developer response:** We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the Uxcel Go app and finding the Pro subscription worth it! Our goal is to make e-learning engaging, helping you learn design and build UX&UI skills in a fun and interactive way. Keep up the great work, and we’re excited to support your journey as a self-taught designer! 🚀🎨

### 5/5 — Amazing App!

*2024-11-13*

This App is as good as it can be. I have already learnt soooo much! Incredibly well crafted for learning about design. I am missing an iPad Version though. :)

**Developer response:** We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the Uxcel Go app and learning so much! Our goal is to make e-learning engaging and help you build your UX&UI skills. An iPad version is a great suggestion—we appreciate your feedback and will share it with our team. Stay tuned for future updates, and happy learning! 🚀🎨

### 5/5 — Blown away by the content

*2024-10-17*

This app is setting me up for success designing my own app. I’ve been looking for the right UX/UI program for years and this beats everything.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that our platform is helping you on your journey to designing your own app. Keep up the great work, and let us know if there's anything more we can do to support your learning and projects!

### 5/5 — Amazing UX learning in bite-sized lessons.

*2024-09-30, version 1.5.1*

If you’re interested in UX, get this app. You will enjoy it tremendously.

### 5/5 — Great content for devs looking to learn UI/UX

*2024-08-26*

Uxcel is teaching me exactly what I was hoping to learn as I build my own website. I’ve been a pro user for about a week and I’ve already applied the fundamentals to drastically improve my site’s UI and UX. I’ve still got a lot of content to get through but I am relieved I finally have the content I was looking for.

### 4/5 — Copy needs to be polished

*2024-08-12*

The app is decent enough but the standard of copywriting is mediocre. You should hire a professional writer, or even run the text through a GPT

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We’re always looking to improve the Uxcel Go app, including the learning experience and content quality. We appreciate your suggestion and will share it with our team. If you have any specific examples, feel free to let us know at support@uxcel.com—we value your input! 🚀

### 5/5 — Great way to learn UX design, anywhere and any time

*2024-08-06*

I absolutely love this app. It’s so well designed for when you’re on the go and don’t want to waste time on your phone but want something to occupy your brain on a commute or waiting in line. It’s great to feel like you can learn UX design anywhere and it’s a very good case study of good UX design as well!

Would love to have the webpage gamified elements also available on mobile. The design games are fun and a nice simple way to practice the UX design knowledge and train your eye

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your kind words!
We're thrilled to hear that Uxcel helps you make the most of your time on the go.

We appreciate your suggestion about gamifying mobile elements and will certainly consider it to enhance your learning experience.

Keep enjoying the design games and happy learning!

### 5/5 — Add more languages

*2024-06-20*

The app is great for learning and very intuitive. However, it could be improved by adding a translator mode for articles, which would enhance language learning for users, such as those who speak Spanish. This feature could attract more users, given the large Spanish-speaking community.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your positive feedback! We’re glad you find the UXcel Go App intuitive for learning. Your suggestion for a translator mode is excellent and could indeed benefit our Spanish-speaking users. We’ll consider this feature to enhance our e-learning experience and broaden our reach.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t access my account to cancel payment

*2023-11-15*

I want to cancel my subscription but can’t access my account and I emailed the company 10 days ago and still not heard back from them.

**Developer response:** We're really sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing with Uxcel Go.
We're here to help you learn design, UX and UI easily with us.

### 1/5 — Closed Free features?!??

*2023-08-21, version 1.0*

Are all features closed in the application for free?!

### 2/5 — Dishonest

*2025-04-19, version 1.7.0*

You only get the first lesson free which is not clearly communicated when you start using the app, very disappointing

### 2/5 — Too buggy to rely on to promote yourself professionally

*2024-10-12, version 1.6.1*

I bought a year of this service to learn UX design. The content itself seems pretty good, though I haven’t done much at other places.

The problem is that they made some change in the code for their site and now my profile “skill graph” is totally messed up. I basically cannot send potential employers and clients to my profile as it looks very unprofessional. They said they were working on it but nothing has happened for many weeks. I spent a ton of time on this and now I can’t even use it to promote myself and my work.

### 2/5 — Pay to learn🙁

*2024-09-02, version 1.5.1*

Everything is good, until you end the first part and it tells you to upgrade to take the quiz. If you want to make money, use adds instead of preventing people to learn.

### 2/5 — Subscription

*2024-07-23*

The subscriptions are too expensive as most of the students are going to use the app. There should be a discount for students.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We understand pricing concerns and want to support students in learning UX&UI design. We offer a student discount—feel free to contact us at support@uxcel.com, and we’ll be happy to help you apply! 🚀

### 2/5 — More Work To Do

*2024-06-17, version 1.5.0*

Cool app that has potential but the price point is extremely high for the limited value it brings. In addition, all learning content is read. Should compliment the readings with video or audio content and activities (for that particular topic, not random topics on a different tab) for different types of learners.

### 2/5 — Not useful to become an UI-Designer

*2024-01-02*

Pretty basic stuff and nice to look at but to really learn something you need to do projects and get reviews from professionals

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to know that our UX & UI design courses on the Uxcel Go app are making a positive impact.
You can check our challenges on our website, where you can apply your design skills and complete real-world design challenges and get the professional feedback! We are doing our best to make all website functions available in Uxcel go app soon.

### 3/5 — Good content but very expensive

*2024-06-10, version 1.5.0*

The content and learnings are pretty good and interactive. Really enjoyed the variety of topics and areas of UX/UI design that they teach.
However, what isn't told to you before downloading is how expensive it is and how limiting the free version is. The free version will only allow you to complete 5 five minute moduals and then you have to upgrade for anything else, it is super limiting and practically unusable unless you upgrade. The paid version is also extremely expensive, about $60 a month which is over double the cost of any other casual learning resource. There is also no free trial. I would recommend not getting this app unless you are hoping to pay the large amount for the pro version.

### 3/5 — After a while

*2024-02-04*

After lesson one you have to start paying :(

**Developer response:** We appreciate your feedback about the app! We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the content limitations for free users. Our team is continuously working to expand our UX&UI course library. If you have any further suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@uxcel.com. Thank you!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — It’s fun and knowledgeable!

*2026-07-09*

As a designer, staying current with UX trends usually meant choosing between mindless scrolling or dry articles. Uxcel solved that. It’s become my go-to for revisiting concepts I’ve learned and discovering new ones, all in a format that respects my attention instead of hijacking it.

### 5/5 — Okay I’m actually so into this!

*2026-07-01*

Very much loving the experience of this app! It makes consuming content super digestible and engaging. It’s like a game that I can’t stop playing!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your amazing review! We're thrilled you're enjoying the gamified learning experience on Uxcel Go. Our mission is to make UX/UI design, product management, and online learning engaging, fun, and easy to stick with. Thanks for learning with us, and happy learning!

### 5/5 — Great UX!

*2025-10-21, version 1.8.4*

I love the superb user experience the app itself gives too!

### 5/5 — Worth every penny.

*2025-10-14*

People complaining that you have to pay to continue to learn… Of course. It takes time and effort to build and teach. You get courses, projects to work on and build a portfolio with, a community to give and get feedback from… Uxcel is worth every penny.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your amazing feedback and support! We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the full e-learning experience with Uxcel Go - from UX UI courses to projects and community feedback. Your words truly mean a lot. Happy learning!

### 5/5 — Enjoying

*2025-08-06*

Really enjoying this app so far! Love the different lesson options. It would be nice if they had a text to speach option for people who prefer auditory learning.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for your kind words! We're happy you’re enjoying the UX UI lessons. A text-to-speech option is a great idea - we’ll share this feedback with our product team for future updates.

### 5/5 — One stop shop for all UX learning!

*2025-08-05*

An outstanding platform for anyone eager to master UX and UI design. The courses are well-structured, interactive, and easy to follow, making complex concepts simple to grasp. The hands-on exercises and real-world examples enhance learning effectively. The clean interface and smooth navigation add to the overall great experience. Highly recommend it to beginners and professionals alike! Only feature I guess could be a great value add is Audio Narration mode as some of the topics are very detailed and make up for long read.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the structure, interactivity, and real-world approach of Uxcel Go. Making complex UX UI concepts easy to understand is exactly what we aim for. And thank you for the great suggestion - we agree that an Audio Narration mode could be a valuable addition, especially for on-the-go learners. We’ll share this with our team as we continue improving the e-learning experience. Happy learning!

### 5/5 — Keeps me on my toes!

*2025-06-01*

I’ve been using Uxcel for almost two years now and find it great for learning and testing my knowledge on a daily basis.

Would love to see more of the desktop capabilities available in the app but probably wouldn’t be a great UX!

**Developer response:** We're thrilled to hear that you're finding our UX & UI design courses informative and well-structured. Providing valuable content to our users is our primary goal, and we're glad to know that we're meeting your expectations. Your feedback helps us continue to improve and evolve. Happy learning!

### 5/5 — I’m learning so much

*2025-05-05*

I work full time and have been aiming to both bring design tools into my work and transition to a UX career. I have tried the Google Coursera UX certificate but got daunted after a couple of the courses with how self-directed you need to be and how little community there is. I have been contemplating doing a bootcamp but the cost and time investment is prohibitive.

I came across Uxcel and I’m SO glad I did. The bite-size lessons and quizzes help me actually accomplish courses much faster than I thought because I can do it in short spurts in this gamified way (which works for me brain. The content is great - I have been really impressed with how practical and helpful it is. I’ve learned a lot!

One of the features I really like is the “showcase” where you can choose a project brief that feels very beginner friendly, always based in real-world UX needs, and actually start producing case studies. The community gives feedback. I’ve found such a mental block working on my portfolio and this is giving me very real ways to just start designing. I still have a long way to go to master these skills but it’s a really great option to learn very targeted skills in an achievable way.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for sharing your journey — we’re truly honored to be part of it! It’s amazing to hear that Uxcel Go is helping you stay motivated and make real progress toward your UX career goals. We designed the bite-size, gamified lessons to fit exactly into busy schedules like yours, and it’s great to know it’s working for you.

We’re also thrilled you’re enjoying the Showcase feature — it was built to make portfolio building feel more approachable and practical, especially with community feedback along the way.

Keep going, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever need support. We’re cheering you on — happy learning!

### 5/5 — I love learning UX now!

*2025-04-12*

I’ve tried learning UX from multiple websites, courses, YouTube tutorials and nothing was fun. This is so fun! It’s short it’s simple and it’s easy to keep learning and the goals are reachable. I want to get these certifications. I want to do the short activities where I have to figure out what’s wrong in the UI and UX and how to fix it. I love that there is so much to learn! I hope you keep adding more certifications along UX Research.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your amazing feedback. We’re thrilled to hear that Uxcel Go is making your UX learning journey fun, simple, and goal-driven. We’re continuously working to expand our UX UI course offerings, including certifications and UX research content. Stay tuned for more engaging e-learning experiences!

### 5/5 — Useful for daily learning

*2025-04-06*

Well built and easy to use on the go to keep up with my learning goals. Feels very similar to the web app. Nice job Uxcel team.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the great feedback. We’re glad you’re enjoying the Uxcel Go app and that it helps you stay on track with your UX&UI learning goals. It’s great to hear the experience feels consistent with our web platform. Keep up the great work!
