## What is V3O?

Technology should understand every voice, not just the most common ones. VOOO (Voices of Our Own) lets you donate short voice recordings to Common Voice, Mozilla's open speech dataset, so speech technology can learn to understand your language and your accent.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Read - a short sentence appears on screen.
2. Record - tap the mic and read it aloud.
3. Review - listen back, retake anything you're not happy with.
4. Submit - send your batch of 5 clips to Common Voice.

Contributing takes just a few minutes, and every clip you submit becomes part of an open dataset that anyone can use to build speech recognition, voice assistants, and accessibility tools.

MADE FOR UNDERREPRESENTED LANGUAGES
VOOO currently supports:
- English
- Khmer
- Dagbani

Major languages have millions of recorded hours. Languages like Khmer and Dagbani have almost none, which means the people who speak them get left out of voice technology. Your recordings help close that gap.

FEATURES
- Guided recording in batches of 5 short sentences
- Listen back and retake before anything is submitted
- Works offline: recordings queue up and upload automatically when you're back online
- Track your total contributions in your profile
- Skip sentences you'd rather not read
- Switch contribution language at any time
- Sign in with email or Google

YOUR VOICE, THE WORLD'S DATA
Recordings are contributed to Common Voice, the world's most diverse open voice dataset, run by Mozilla. The dataset is released publicly so researchers, developers, and communities everywhere can build speech tools for every language, openly and transparently.

Lend your voice. A few sentences from you today means better technology for your community tomorrow.
