With this being said I have seen far to many issues that the devs simply refuse to fix. The top players are impossible to catch up with and they kill their competitors. And when it comes to region bosses to get better gear there’s a group of like top 10 players that go from boss to boss melting their heath and with the current system of the top 5 dmging players getting the best loot it makes it impossible to progress past a certain point. Hi, I’ve been playing this game roughly everyday since it released (literally) I spent some money. Not a lot and I barely did. I just would love if this game gave the option if people wanted to have pvp on or off. I don’t attack other people I just want to play the game. I can literally walk away or leave it while I’m playing another game aswell and I’ll see I need to revive cause someone killed my character, and the chance to track then please just take that option out where I can be attacked rather I like it or not? If someone wants to pvp someone they should have to ask the person or have a area with no quest either a new map &/or jus add a Place in the maps that says pvp off in a corner. No quest so the characters don’t auto move there. Unless people that wanna pvp can go over there have to accept the quest to participate and get things like potions or anything I don’t care long as I can’t be attacked while trying to progress in this story. It’s a great game A LOT of stuff to do in game but the quest play themselves the only time you actually control your character is when it’s not a quest but killing monsters. The game is still fun and you can complete quest without auto find you just need to know the map and characters which might take a day. Another thing character customization is great and also the classes are cool too. If you read this here is a tip if you like attacking and some defense pick Archer she is sooooooo OP omg. Catch is the top players in this game hold a monopoly on the best gear. In order to attain best gear you have to fight what is called a region boss. These bosses only spawn at select times in which the whole servers can partake in. This is also a PVP zone. You cannot attain the best and latest gear unless you place in the top 5 players that did damage to the region boss. As of Right now the top players in the game are more powerful than anyone by a long shot and partake in every region boss spawn relentlessly and have for months. They maintain a sort of communism. There is no way to catch up to their level because it is said they are people that have pent hundreds of thousands in micro transactions on the game and maintained a lead on everyone until they shut out the competition. I know the best players (aside from this elitist group) that attempt at surpassing them. They fail everytime and if the “treaty” is broken the top players in the game just kill on sight everyone remotely close to their power level and reap all the rewards for themselves. This is a broken system and the developers aren’t doing anything because they want to continue milking the people that dump hundreds of thousands into this game via micros transactions. A preety awesome game with great promise but has been ruined by elitist. I hear this is normal game mechanics for games produced in the Eastern part of the world. Sad to see. ### 2/5 — Beautiful but boring *2020-12-06, version 1.16.245165* The developers definitely created an incredibly beautiful world. However, the game is incredibly boring. The quests are repetitive. There’s no variety to the quests. The TTK on killing mobs (which is all you do) is ridiculously long. How can you be nearly 100k over the adds level and it take so long to dispatch them. Quests have you kill mobs in batches of 24, 32, 45, 60, etc. The npcs are exactly the same everywhere you go. The success/fail system is not fun at all. There should always be a way to get any enhancement attempt to 100%. Why pay real money for materials, etc., just to fail at an attempt? The spam of bots is overwhelming. Would nice if there was more stuff for a group of two or three to do. The quest lines need to be reworked. Characters are really good looking and I love the armors and mounts. Sadly, all of this doesn’t matter. The game is horribly taken over by bots, more even than I would expect from a title from nexon. Add to that the server merges that deactivate toons you were playing on other servers just fine before the merge. You see, there were 4 toon slots per server and NA had four servers once. I had a whole team of four toons each on two servers and a couple on the other. Anyways, they jammed all the servers together and want you to pay for toon slots over four, yet they are the ones who made it this way, screwing you over out of hard work done. So, not only do they slap me with pay for slots for toons that I could play just fine before the server merge and they want me to play in the world they have made full of dang bots? This, after they claim they are Combating bots. Lol. If nothing else, they are really good at taking your money. I loved your game guys, but not anymore. The drops are decently paced for upgrading if you’re using the potions that give you increased rates, but I can only imagine how terrible it would be without them. And the lack of impact upgrading your skills is so minuscule. You really don’t feel that sense of accomplishment. I’m enjoying the game though. But this would be a 5 Star review and game if they could just fix these. We’ll see if my review changes when I reach endgame material. Hoping to see if pvp is the saving grace. (But probably not) ### 2/5 — It’s pretty....but.... *2020-09-28, version 1.12.241204* Lets talk about the character customization options, maybe its because its a newer game or whatever, which is cool and exciting! But there aren’t that many options for customization in general, when I play games like these I like to make fantastical looking team characters that range in things like height, weight, age and looks. While its cool for lots of people to play as these light, rail thin anime people, I think you could pull a lot more people into wanting to play your game if it was a bit more inclusive. Theres nothing wrong with being skinny, all bodies are immaculate and beautiful, but If I put up your weight//size sliders to max and the character still looks like bayonetta? Immediate turn off. In your game darkness rises at least you could get like a semblance of the differences between a thicker or beefier character, or character with an older/different looking face then others. Its the same with the faces, the only time you can see subtle change is when you reeeeeaaally crank that slider. It’d be nice if ya’ll took this into consideration, I cant make you of course, but think about customization as the foundation of your game. With weak foundation comes a crumbling house. However, I feel like it would be better if the auto quest and auto battle were out of the game. I know that some new people like using it but having it the whole game is a bit bad. This is really upsetting if I can’t play as a class I really want to play as but other than that I’ve created 3 characters and my final one was going to be assassin. 4 stars for now unless your going to be like dragon raja with they’re reaper class and unlock assassin class later on I think that’s a really good idea but for now 4 stars. ### 3/5 — Fun but needs work... *2020-08-28, version 1.12.214297* I like the graphics and the combat styles. All the classes are fun to use and dig the change in armor. But in terms of story it’s lacking. The character models are gorgeous but the voice acting for me loses the immersion of the game. My biggest issue I have with the game is enhancing gear. You have scrolls for armor and books to enhance the magic in weapons and gear blue tier or higher. Most of the time it will fail. I had 54 weapon scrolls and out of the majority of them about 4 worked before I wasted them all. The enhancement system is broken and getting gear so far is rather difficult. Getting higher grades makes it much harder to level up. So unless you’re lucky in the RNG...you won’t go far in game with base 1 enhanced gear. **Developer response:** Hello, Sorelle673! There’s a lot of room for growth however. One of the things that bothers me is that all the players look exactly the same because everyone has the same gear. There is no customization from what I can tell, other than being able to change how your character looks physically. The gear is all the same. Also, there are so few choices of gear and when you get a new piece, it only tells you how far below your current piece the new one is, but it doesn’t give you the new gears stats to see if it might be worth it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Dead game completely p2w *2023-08-30* Don’t waste your time on this trash heap sorry excuse for a game. If you’re just starting up you might be able to boost your level and gear to a point where you can farm zones you need but the whales will always monopolize the rare spawns that actually drop the loot you need to progress. Some people are decent and great to get along with but there are way too many selfish players(giga whales in particular) who will gatekeep the rare mob spawns that drop the gear needed to progress your character if they don’t pk you on sight for getting to close to the spawn point for said rare mob they’re camping. Not everyone is toxic to that extent and there are a lot of friendly players. But the whales of the game have always been petty and have no qualms flagging a guild as kos just for being in the same zone as a rare spawn they’re camping. The game is great. But I am encountering some serious technical issues with them immediately in the scene following the loading screen just keep on saying “trying to reconnect due to server issues” and the screen gets repetitive and the action I've done ends up unaccounted. Could you please work on this issue :( I've emptied a lot of space just for playing it once I saw the commercial video of it! What mmorpg doesn’t even have a block or evade button? You’re literally just auto’ing each other and you don’t even know if you’re winning because you can’t even see the other player’s HP. Then if you’re assumingly about to win, the other player teleports to town, fun..? Because the PvP is set up that way, the game is too reliant on P2W. Since there’s no actual way to block/evade attacks, the game is all about who has more CP and we all know how that goes. All the best gear is tied to these as well so ax that as well. The game devs could care less because they just keep sweeping in that lovely micro trans cash. The “top” players/aka developers / people that spend the most/ control each of the four realms. There are guilds that will cripple your entire existence on the server by halting progression in the many limited zones that can be hunted in, including area bosses, elites, region bosses. On top of that, these ridiculous individuals will spend, wreak havoc, then ask for a refund. When will this madness stop? When will players have to earn instead of buying? Why can’t there be a monthly service fee game that doesn’t allow you to buy your CP? Poor execution. *2020-09-08, version 1.12.214297* Ah MMORPGS where do we start. The crafting system is not rewarding. The gear system and enhancement system is pretty punishing if you don't want to buy the mighty glory or Vitebsk challenger kits for $50. Crafting potions is almost more expensive than buying them at a merchant. It's more rewarding to use companions for region conquest and logout for a day than to auto battle. The game is swarmed with bots. Raids are not rewarding for multiple people one person gets the loot. Pvp is enabled so you just die from other players rather than the raid boss. Quest line is not immersive and is basically hit auto-play. No real customization beyond hairline. It's nexon who struggles to keep mmorpgs alive in the first place due to poor moderation and even poorer design. See Atlantica online for a perfect example. The market is trash. Now for a positive. It's much more immersive than let's say idle heroes or afk arena ect. If you're gonna buy something in game get the 30-day kits and the new Viten challenger gear... ### 1/5 — Play only if you enjoy frustration *2020-08-20, version 1.12.214297* Enough is enough. It’s been a month and several patches and chatting in this game is derelict. Armies of bots have overrun the realm channel, spamming advertisements every 3 seconds. Nexon’s way of dealing with it? They make it into an event where you get to report it -_- However if that wasn’t bad enough, then there’s the chat filter itself that makes an attempt to censor everything negative from English to Sign Language. Allow me to elaborate, the following are just several words that are FULLY censored and tantamount to the “f word” in terms of censorship. Words are: meter, server, got, cheat, Jesus (Scientology is not however), hole, etc etc etc. I’m sorry, I’ve had enough. People can’t even communicate without having about 30% of their chat censored and I’m tired of guessing what they are trying to say as if this was a bloody game of Jeopardy. 1-star until this is fixed. **Developer response:** Hello, Machder! If you have other issues or concerns, please feel free to let us know. ### 1/5 — Meh *2020-08-12, version 1.12.214297* The game isn’t bad per-say, it’s the little things that start to pile up is what starts to get annoying, for a mobile game the penalties start to get harsh past lvl 56 with epmnt breaking when you either die or get pked, you can reclaim your eqpmnt within the 12h so, it’s not worth farming at night for mats because you can be pked past lvl 50. Other then that when you get to the tougher areas you’ll encounter jerks that will pk you constantly you can switch ch but most of them occupy them and you only get 5 free reclaims per day after that start forking over cash. As soon as I saw it was by nexon I knew what I was in for, they still have a terrible reputation on there pay to win games. long story short, nice game, not worth burning a hole into your pocket, I stopped at lvl 66 so I gave it its fair share. ### 1/5 — Nothing Special about it *2020-07-26, version 1.12.214297* Gender locked classes. Not many classes to choose from. Auto questing through and through. All classes feel exactly the same. Chat is filled with censorship and most of what you text isn’t even bad to begin with, it just doesn’t make sense. Makes it very frustrating to chat and make friends. After lvl 40 the game just completely dies off. You have to stack up on health potions and mana potions if you want to continue pass lvl 40. Demon bosses and region bosses are completely way too strong for you even if you just thought of going that route. After lvl 40 it feels you have to kill 50+ monsters as a task for every quest you receive, which takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes, just very repetitive. There’s a penalty if you die which takes almost all of the XP that you earn, after you use your 5 free revives up. PvP makes no sense. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Just an idea *2023-07-26* I saw a review about pvp being a constant and I’d like to or I just wanted to throw this idea in there. How about instead of a single area of pvp or turning pvp on and off by choice a third option of areas outside of like cities and major areas where players will need to shop and buy gear are PvPvE. I would suggest making players lose whatever gear they have at the time when they die in a PVPVE area (Except paid items, wouldn’t want the whole game to get exploited) Also on another note can we get a PVP gladiator arena where non PVP players can come sit in the stands and watch, that’s something I don’t think other games like this have. One more thought lol, can we not allow players over so many level/ranked to attack lower level/ranked players. Anyway I do plan to keep my promise because you did keep your end of the bargain. I love the game and it made the little time off help me feel a little successful and I’m actually kinda good not the best but I feel confident in the way I lvl in your game. Character creation was excellent with a snappy introduction and I most certainly like how you can change even the skin texture of your character, not just the outfits and hairstyles. There is auto botting involved, but this does relieve stress, especially if you’re on a losing streak against money-munchers in pvp. V4 is p2w, but that’s the truth for all mmos; the servers cannot repair themselves for free if the hardware ages or malfunctions and the devs most certainly have to expend actual money to maintain servers just like any mmo, so face the music and don’t whine about p2w, you’ll encounter that in any mmorpg. That’s pretty much all I have to say and v4 is certainly worth playing. The only the weapon is the shield. The shield is granted the power of sucking the power of enemies for powerful blows. So they shield would have gems on it and when ur attacking someone it will take in the power from the enemy and use it against them. U can add things like a knife to make it seem cool but once u get an idea of what I mean u will get the point. There used to be a way for us f2p players to get gems but they removed it and since then there have just been a few whales that take most of the items and gear. Also whenever you get a level based section to gain power it becomes a bit broken for the people who can’t grind the levels out. What I mean is sometimes you need to actually fight some of the bosses. There is auto questing, auto gathering, and auto attacking. There are guild bosses as well as world bosses(regional bosses). Graphics are great and there is a PC client for the game.
