The website has become an essential resource for veterans, bringing appointments, disability claims, health care information, benefits, records, and secure access together in one place. What I appreciate most is the continued effort to make VA services easier to access online. Instead of having to make multiple phone calls or figure out which office handles a particular issue, VA.gov gives veterans a central place to manage many of the benefits and services we earned through our military service. I’ve also seen firsthand how important digital access is for older veterans who may not be as comfortable with online systems. Once they receive some assistance getting set up and learning how to navigate VA.gov, it can make managing their VA health care and benefits significantly easier. No government website is perfect, but VA.gov has made real progress toward giving veterans a more convenient and accessible way to interact with the Department of Veterans Affairs. I appreciate the people behind the system who continue working to improve it. I’ve been trying now for four months to get dental care and I have not been able to get it. I have been trying for two years to get VHIB for my service dog and they have consistently denied the application. Will only display the one account now. Also the file a travel claim is also broke and after you check in and select yes you want to file a claim you get a message that says you have to finish it later or online. ### 1/5 — Not the app *2026-08-22, version 2.81.0* I love the app. I give the app 5 stars but my Primary care doctor gets the 1 star. My health has been declining mentally and physically since he took over Dr. Merchant as my primary. Pain in my back is worse and now spreading to my shoulders and neck.
