I was able to set it up pretty quickly, and train staff on how to use it. I imported my booking data and was running after I added photos/details ### 5/5 — Intuitive and modern *2024-12-20* Many of the PMS providers I’ve seen have outdated or ancient looking UIs, and the settings are too convoluted to really know what I’m doing. This allows guests to receive an SMS with a link to start the check-in process, including scan their ID, authorize incidentals deposit, and sign the stay agreement in order to save time when they arrive at the property. Once they self check-in they'll just need their room key and be good to go. To use Self Check-ins you must have guest messaging enabled on your account. Also, guest messages now support MMS, so you can see any images or files your guests send via SMS. Coming soon will be the ability to send a guest an image or file as well. We've also fixed some bugs and made some various improvements. ### 0.31 — 2026-07-14 We've added a brand new, more organized and comprehensive settings screen for admins and owners to manage and configure their property on Vacant.com. The settings pages are also now grouped and categorized. We've also added settings pages for Rate Plans, Surge Protection, Scheduled Messages, and a number of other new settings features.
