Looking forward to staying there again ### 2/5 — Prince Resort Cherry Grove Beach Room 1708 *2025-08-10, version 2.4.0* A great location, but the unit is pretty outdated: no drain cover in master bath and the opening looked gross) , kitchen cabinet door hinge off; drab, uncomfortable and dirty living room furniture; no bedside lamp in master bedroom and the one that apparently had been there was in the closet, busted… (we notified Vacasa the night of arrival and they assured us it would be replaced during our stay but it wasn’t.) ### 5/5 — AMAZING *2025-08-02, version 2.4.0* I had booked another rental for the same dates. I found one I liked better. I was allowed to book the other rental and just lose the booking fee for the first one. I have always used Air B&B; but, in the future, I will surely use VACASA. ### 5/5 — “UP THE HILL” *2025-08-01, version 2.4.0* Great friendly app ### 1/5 — Terrible *2025-07-16, version 2.2.0* They cancelled my reservation without notifying me because they don’t accept affirm yet they have affirm as a payment option and the only way I found out was because my wife was online looking at the condos and saw the one we booked available. We do not recommend this agency at all. ### 1/5 — Dirty and disappointed *2025-07-12, version 2.2.0* The unit was dirty when we arrived. There was a load is wet towels in the washer that we dried. The lint trap in the dryer was overloaded - fire hazard! There were nachos chip crumbs on the carpet which we had to vacuum. I garbage can in the kitchen. The flatware was stained and disgusting. We ended up buying plastic ware to eat with. There was garbage between the fridge and counter. The side of the fridge was dirty. The drawers in the fridge were broken - almost cut ourselves when stocking the fridge. After driving 6 plus hours we had to clean. Before we could begin our vacation. Never again will we reserve with Vacasa nor will we ever recommend them! ### 1/5 — DO NOT use Vacasa! *2025-07-04, version 2.2.0* Booked thru Booking.com and the property was managed by Vacasa (which I didn’t realize it meant having to download the app to sign a ‘lease’ agreement). While the property itself was clean, it was misleading as the use of facilities such as pool at extra cost was not clearly listed in the main Booking.com page. Rather you have to dig thru the supplemental Vacasa page. Instructions for entry into the premises was not precise. The key was flimsy and had to be repeatedly jiggled. We also weren’t aware that we had to share the same outside door key with a neighboring apt and that caused some tension. The old couple apparently arrived with even less instructions on how to enter their apt. And the inner lock to the apt was also not sturdy and passcode had to be repeatedly entered until it would take. They send multiple updates that miss details (wasn’t clear for example whether we would have a parking space) Avoid using Vacasa if you can! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Run! *2026-07-27, version 2.8.3* Horrible website and app. Developer has no business sitting in front of a keyboard much less selling its services. They have no idea what they are doing. ### 1/5 — Ridiculously buggy *2026-01-14, version 2.6.1* Maybe the app is good once registered, but getting registered in the app isn’t possible. Captcha doesn’t work, won’t accept passwords that were previously entered just moments before. Junk. There is no way that I will ever be able to attend an event live this. Had nice rental experiences but Coachella is something that is absolutely not obtainable. ### 1/5 — Do NOT book via Vacasa — no water, refund mishandled *2025-08-19, version 2.4.0* No running water first night; maintenance came next morning. Vacasa then refunded 9,500 pts on a 30k/night award instead of reinstating one full night. Support kept bouncing me around. Avoid for anything important. ### 1/5 — WORST management EVER! *2025-08-17* This management company is awful, I have never wrote a review before. Because of how much this company had no respect for their customers I felt the need to write this. I booked a stay with a Vacasa home, the house was okay other than the description was incorrect from what we needed to fit our family. This caused family members to have no other choice but to sleep on the floor. And caused arguments among the house , making it a horrible trip . I took the precaution to reach out to the Vacasa before I booked the place to ask them if the description was exactly how they had it listed and they wrote me back and confirmed it was! I have receipts of all communication with Vacasa and yet they still treat their customers this way. I spoke with vacasa management and asked for some sort of compensation for their mess up , could be a partial refund ( refund for the person who slept on floor) credit for future stay. I was open to hearing them out . I got a response from a manger the first day after requesting one 3 times , told me he would update the description and that was it . I requested to speak to someone higher up cause that was unacceptable. He told me I should hear back within two days for the next four weeks. I requested someone to call me each time. Someone would respond saying they put the request in and someone would call me and never got a call back. At this point, I still have no response in this company deserves no stars. I logged into the app and had to call them directly. The rep would not give me any details why it was cancelled and told me I had to look elsewhere, no assistance on a new property. Very unprofessional ### 1/5 — Pool shock *2025-07-30, version 2.4.0* Property 221 E 2nd Ave, gulf shores Broke bed, pool dirty, pool shocks one of my kids, they didn’t relocate us, they came take a look and they offer back $25 per day, its not about money its about safety, my check in /out was on 25 jul - 28jul , my family end up taking the kids to hotels because the safety issue. Almost $2500 paid and they come back with a $116 refund , i dont need the money , my family and i we plan this trip 2 months prior. ### 1/5 — Is there anything else I can help you with today? *2025-07-23, version 2.4.0* Terrible service. We booked 8 nights and are 6 nights in without a working dryer. Every time I message, I get the response “we have forwarded to the local staff and don’t have a response yet”. The maintenance team was extremely fast and friendly. Although it was operator error. lol. The cabin was clean and very nice. Cons are the grill is not large enough for the food for 20 people and it’s hard to get anyone on the phone but they do respond to emails extremely fast.
