Ich möchte schon im Vorfeld die für mich passenden Angebote filtern und nicht mich durch unzählige, unpassende Angebote klicken müssen. Andere Anbieter sind da schon einen ganzen Schritt weiter. Daher ist Hometogo nicht meine erste Wahl bei der Urlaubssuche. ### 3/5 — Filter funktionieren nicht *2024-09-06* Eigentlich eine sehr tolle App. Leider werden mir aber trotz Filter auch Unterkünfte angezeigt, in denen keine Hunde erlaubt sind. Leider werden die eingestellten Angebote scheinbar nicht genügend geprüft, so das es vor allem bei der Anwendung von Filtern zu unerwünschten Ergebnissen kommt. Wenn ich ein FerienHAUS suche, und mir dann massenweise Zimmer, Wohnungen und Apartments ab 15 qm angeboten werden ist die Suche sinnlos! Ebenso sollten die Filter erweitert werden. I had been charged over $1500 and was not being refunded. HomeToGo was unable to help me in getting a refund or figuring out what happened. I spent a month of back and forth getting nowhere…..not even so much as an acknowledgment that there was an issue and that they were sorry for what happened. I found out what happened by chance - very easily could have arrived without a place to stay. Beware **Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to explain the issue you’re facing. Your team from HomeToGo ### 1/5 — SCAM *2024-05-03* I was scammed after using this app. I booked a home through here for the weekend and it was cancelled without my knowledge and now it’s the day of my trip and we have nowhere to stay. This is very bad business practice going on here and there are numerous reviews saying how people have been scammed off this app/website. **Developer response:** Dear TrapaveliTre, Thank you for your message and constructive criticism. Best regards, Your HomeToGo Team ### 1/5 — No Stars *2024-03-05* Why is it you show the date and price saying total amount…..then you click on it and price goes to screen showing higher price …that’s not including fees and taxes ….then when you book total prices comes up a couple thousand more then the start amount….no thanks…..very misleading **Developer response:** We are deeply sorry that you faced this, but the total price with fees and taxes is shown before you finish the booking. We try to indicate the price as transparently as possible. Unfortunately, in some properties the taxes and fees are very high, so it looks as if the price is doubled. We have no influence on this. ### 4/5 — Tolle und übersichtliche App… *2024-02-11* ….aber: Ich finde es schade, dass bei gesetztem Filter „Haustier erlaubt“ mir dennoch viele Unterkünfte angezeigt werden, bei denen kein Haustier erlaubt ist. When browsing the pet friendly cottages, it is so difficult to find how many dogs they allow. Have to open up the cottages and hope it says somewhere in the description. I won’t be using this app as it makes an already difficult job (finding a cottage that accepts 5 dogs) even harder. ### 1/5 — Terrible Customer Service *2023-11-21* Booked for the first time, there was an error in the email although logged into my account on the app somehow the reservation was put under the erroneous email. Tried to call nobody answered the phone. Sent emails and they took days to respond if they ever responded. Going on over a month now past the reservation date and the original reservation. I still can’t get any help. Had to pay for another hotel because I could not get in contact with HomesToGo and Expedia wouldn’t help although the hotel said they received the booking through Expedia. It has been a nightmare of a time to deal with especially while trying to host family visiting us at our base overseas to see our newborn. Numerous emails AND calls 30+ days still no help, resolution, or response. WILL NOT BE USING THIS APP HOMESTOGO OR EXPEDIA EVER AGAIN. Cannot recommend to enough people NOT to use them. ### 2/5 — Map View Useless, makes app useless to me. Pity *2023-07-18* The whole point of the map view is to click on the property you want to see. But the app doesn’t work that way. It doesn’t event highlight the property on the map when you select it or the compare option in the results list. Basically your only option is to shop by photo and look at the location AFTER wasting your time finding its in the wrong part of town you want to stay. An app that is consistently crashing, which is why I looked for other booking options. We put in our dates and it was available supposedly still on homestogo but then it sends you to VRBO where it isn’t. So they are basically middle men and not good ones even. Deleted and also not sure what people are smoking to give 4.8. Wow ### 1/5 — Misleading titles fir the holidays they advertise *2026-06-08, version 26.05.2500* I booked a two day break to Cornwall on 18th May. I put into my options that I wanted a beach view and dog friendly place. When I arrived it a house with an apartment at the bottom in the middle of a Forrest. Absolutely no beach view at all. It was in the middle of forest with just tall trees as the view. it was pitch black at night time where I couldn’t walk the dog. The holiday was basically ruined because the nearest beach was a 35 minute walk away. The reason I needed a beach view with a short walk to the beach was because I have a child with a disability who can’t walk very far. I have emailed numerous times and nobody replies back. I don’t know what the point of the app is or the chat option on here because it is absolutely useless, they just tell you to email to which they don’t respond I would avoid it all costs and seeing from their other trustpilot views. There isn’t a 100% lodging tax in Oregon. Es gibt ein neues Sofa, die Wände erstrahlen in einem frischen weiß und die Matratzen sind auch neu. Hier hat sich über den Winter was getan. Die Agentur ist nach wie vor herzlich unkompliziert.
