## What is VAG Radar?

Mit der App VAG Radar wird die Fahrt mit der Freiburger Verkehrs AG für alle noch bequemer und einfacher. Besonders blinde und sehbehinderte Fahrgäste, aber auch Menschen mit Mobilitätseinschränkungen, profitieren vom VAG Radar. Die schlanke App konzentriert sich auf zentrale Funktionen, die unterwegs beim Ein- und Aussteigen unterstützen:

- Fahrzeugradar: An der Haltestelle kündigt die App Busse und Stadtbahnen, die sich nähern, an.
- Haltestellenansage: Während der Fahrt kann durch eingeschalteten Voice Over die Haltestellenansage über die App abgespielt werden.
- Haltewunsch: Fahrgäste können in der App den Haltewunsch auslösen und die automatische Türschließfunktion außer Kraft setzen, um mehr Zeit beim Ein- und Ausstieg zu haben.
- Tür-Finde-Signal: Mithilfe der App kann das Tür-Finde-Signal am Fahrzeug ausgelöst werden, so dass ein akustisches Leitsystem den Fahrgast zur offenen Tür führt.

Natürlich ist die App barrierefrei nutzbar und unterstützt viele Bedienhilfen wie Zoom, Text-Größe und Farbumkehr sowie die Vorlesefunktion des Endgeräts.

Für die Nutzung der App muss Bluetooth am Smartphone eingeschaltet sein. So empfängt die App Informationen direkt vom Fahrzeug auf bis zu 50 Meter Entfernung. Auch wird so die Fernbedienung des Haltewunsches und des Tür-Finde-Signals ermöglicht.

Der Standort von Nutzer oder Nutzerin wird nicht verarbeitet.
