VAGUA is a boat when you need one. Say where you are leaving from and where you are going. A skipper accepts, you watch the boat come to you on the map, you step aboard. The price is shown before you confirm, and it does not move. BOOKING TAKES SECONDS Pick your departure pontoon and your destination, say how many of you there are, leave as soon as possible or at a time that suits you. You can browse the map and the fares without creating an account. WATCH THE BOAT ARRIVE Once your ride is accepted, you follow the boat live on the map, with an estimate of when it will reach you. No more scanning the horizon wondering whether anyone is coming. PAY AFTER, NOT BEFORE When you book, your card is only authorised: the amount is set aside, nothing is charged. The charge happens once the crossing is done. If the ride does not take place, the hold is released and nothing appears on your statement. MESSAGE YOUR SKIPPER A pontoon is hard to find, you are five minutes late, you are on the wrong quay: write to them straight from the app. WHAT TO KNOW VAGUA connects passengers with water-taxi operators. The crossing is sold and performed by the operator covering the area, under its own responsibility, with its boats and its professional skippers. Coverage depends on the operators present in each area and grows with them. If no boat serves your bay yet, the app says so plainly and offers to let you know when one does — rather than leaving you waiting for a boat that will not come. YOUR POSITION IS NOT A HISTORY Your position is used to place you on the map and to follow the ride in progress. No history of your movements is built. The full detail is in our privacy policy. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 1.6.1 — 2026-09-16 Every profile now has its own guide: it states what is already set up on your side and what is still missing, read from your real data. • Guide & setup, in the Profile tab. Operators, skippers, publisher, passengers: one each, stating what every missing item actually prevents — and the way to fix it. • Operators: your opening hours can finally be set, with a preview of exactly what your customer will read. Your bank statement label can now be entered from the app too. • Skippers: the guide separates what keeps you invisible from what blocks your payouts — two different problems, fixed in two different places. • Passengers: six cards answer what no screen used to say — when you are charged, what a late cancellation costs, what happens if nobody comes. • Accessibility: your phone's "reduce motion" setting is now honoured everywhere, page changes included. Only the loading indicator keeps turning: it is the one thing telling you the app is still working. • Fixed: the "which trip do you want to follow?" list overflowed from five active trips on; the fifth was neither readable nor reachable. • Fixed: the Bookings screen had no back button. • Fixed: the installed version could show a date that was not its own. ### 1.5.0 — 2026-09-14 Booking a crossing is straightforward again — and the app now offers every destination we serve. • Every destination: arrival search is no longer limited to catalogue routes. Type a port, a beach, an island — if a boat can take you there, the price shows up. • Prices say who they cover: "per adult" or "whole boat". No more guessing when you choose. • Fixed: the button that holds the amount could stay unresponsive when the first or last name was missing. The screen now says so, and takes you there. • Fixed: a seat can no longer be booked on a shuttle that has already left. • Fixed: the confirmation screen showed both piers in white on white. • Fixed: the free-cancellation deadline is computed in your operator's local time. • Fixed: no more error screen after a payment or a cancellation. • Skippers: your summary no longer announces a charge that hasn't happened yet, and boarding is timestamped by our servers rather than by your phone. ### 1.4.1 — 2026-09-01 A day at sea can now be booked together, with everyone paying their own share. • Shared outings: describe the day you want, skippers reply, you keep the offer that suits you. The invitation link opens without an account. • A group chat for each outing, bringing together everyone who has paid. The organiser can pass a message on to the skipper — the group sees what was sent. • My notifications: everything VAGUA has told you stays readable for 90 days. A missed notification is no longer lost information. • Your ticket opens with no network, showing when it was last updated. • Skippers: follow your shared outings from the dashboard — who has paid, what's missing, the deadline. • Fixed: an unfinished payment can be resumed from My trips, as long as the boat hasn't left. • You choose whether to take part in audience measurement: nothing is collected until you have answered, and you can change your mind at any time from your profile. ### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-29 L'application s'appelle désormais VAGUA.
