Ich erwarte bei 5* das keine Hundescheisse seit Tagen vor dem Restaurant liegt ! Ich erwarte bei 5* das beim Dinner die Gäste nicht in Badekleidung und mit Nackten Kindern am Tisch sitzen ! Ich erwarte das besoffene Gäste die dich nicht benehmen und ihre Füße auf die Stühle legen vom Restaurant verwiesen werden ! Ich erwarte von 5 * der einen Privaten Strand hat das die liegen kostenlos sind so wie am Pool ! Der Strand ist Privat und nicht öffentlich Ich erwarte wenn ich mir eine Pizza vorbestellen will auf eine Uhrzeit um die dann abzuholen das das dann möglich ist ! Aber nein man muss eine sdt vor dem Restaurant warten und die dann mitnehmen! !!!! Geht gar nicht Ich erwarte das es auf so einem großen Gelände mit soviel Menschen nicht nur ein Restaurant gibt Und ich erwarte auch das das Personal im Restaurant motivierter arbeiten sollte und freundliche!!!! Selecting a destination was the easy part . Recent visits to Porec ,the Jewel on the Istrian coast of Croatia had won over our hearts on recent holiday adventures . Valamar had earned our confidence and respect for their quality of food and service but they gave us a major problem in choosing the actual venue . The Isabella Island was ‘our happy place’ and the hotel and VLevel Miramare suites deserved another visit - or rather we deserved another visit! We were also aware that the new kid on the Valamar Collection block was also making waves just across the water from the island and we had watched its construction progress with great interest in recent times . Making tough decisions was never my strength so we took the obvious one - split our 11 days between the two ! We could not have made a better call ! Valamar’s reservation team made sure that the logistics were in place and we arrived first at the Isabella staying in the Miramare VLevel suites which are magnificently positioned , hovering just above the rocket shoreline . A few established staff members amongst a new crew ensured that things were done , as they have always been done , with warmth , style and a natural flair for what makes outstanding hospitality . The breakfast and evening meals in Momenti were magnificent and the service immaculate . What were we expecting from the Pical Resort ? We had read about the huge investment in the facility of course but there is more to making a hotel into a welcoming destination than just the bottom line - eye watering as that was . It is in the investment in people that become your team and who become your front line for marketing and future sales driven by word of mouth . Here I think team Valamar have been astute in enlisting staff from some of their other hotels , safe hands who know the product and understand the Valamar ethos and culture . So yes it was good to see some familiar faces around - Jasmina , Robert , Stefan to name but three but to watch the in-service training and encouragement was most impressive . The new facilities are state of the art and will set standards for others to aspire to . Good luck ! And good luck to those who like us find yourselves trying to choose between two outstanding hotels . Maybe you will prefer the romantic island setting of the Isabella - or maybe you will go for the new vibe of the Pical Resort . Having spent time in both now I am still undecided and so confidentally expect that next year I will find myself asking the same question ‘ . Do you really want to split the time between these two outstanding but individual bases ?
