I set up transportation on behalf of my elderly aunt with Valdosta On Demand for a doctors appointment,that they were supposed to drop her off and pick her up after her appointment. My aunt calls and was told to call back in 10 minutes because they did not have a Driver for her. She calls back in 10 more minutes and yet again she was told to call back because they did not have a driver to pick her up from her doctors appointment. These people left my elderly aunt stranded at her doctors appointment with no ride to get home because we were all at work! She texted me and told me that she was crying because she had no way home!! WARNING WARNING WARNING…..Use silver or a taxi before using on demand!!! So unprofessional and thank God nothing happened to my aunty because it would have been bad for Valdosta On Demand!!! At first I was just letting it slide like screw it I know a lot of people are using this app so it’s probably gonna be a wait, FINE! I still schedule an hour in advance and make an appointment so that I can be there in time I why is it that I have to wait not in my time frame but a whole hour and a half wait this is ridiculous. I called them and asked why it said 15 min at first for when they arrived and updated to 65 min I’m upset they basically told me that it just is what it is the person before me ordered a scheduled ride but got their ride so my ride was pushed back DO NOT USE THIS APP UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO AND YOU CANT AFFORD LYFT OR UBER. Do yall not let people schedule a day ahead?? 1 star review for the lack of convenience and a clearly poorly designed app ### 1/5 — NEVER ON TIME *2024-10-15, version 4.17.4* Your never gonna be on time because it’s always having “ high demand “ this all well make u very mad so be prepared ### 1/5 — Unprofessional *2024-10-10* I tried to let some things slide when I first started using the service but there was some things that didn’t make sense to me like why are drivers being way too personal in their assigned vehicles as if it were they’re cars, having people who aren’t supposed to be in the car in the car, drug use in the van and people making personal stops non related to the job. I’ve had drivers say that they took me to my location but drove right past me and didn’t pick me up. There has also been a lot of aggression from drivers, they don’t drop you off where you’re going and do not care about the conditions they drop you off in and then when you tell them about it they get defensive saying that this is where they’re supposed to drop you at. Customer service doesn’t do anything when you make a complaint they don’t reprimand the drivers at all, the passengers just have to continue to tolerate it because the drivers feel like they can get away with it. I’ve walked to where the map says the ride is only for the ride to NOT be in that spot. My account is constantly being inactivated for no reason and the wait times are ridiculous. I keep my app open the entire time so I can keep an eye on when my ride is arriving so I know when to go outside. It told me my ride was a few mins away still, and then suddenly I was notified that my ride left.
