I purchased it to use as multi effects to use with an amp, and all the presets with amps and cabs on are awful, the prospect of editing them all one by one using the para button fills me with memories of inputting phone numbers into a Nokia 3210 which I don’t intend to do.. What’s up with this? ### 5/5 — Einwandfrei wie auch die iOS App! *2025-06-28, version 1.0.0* Nachdem ich zuerst ein paar Tage mit der iOS App gearbeitet habe, wollte ich nun auch die macOS Version testen. Vorhin installiert, und 2 Stunden damit experimentiert, mit dem Valeton GP-5 über Bluetooth verbunden, und alles hat super funktioniert. Daumen hoch, denn das ist nicht selbstverständlich. ### 4/5 — Overall, a Very Helpful App *2026-06-30* I use this for the GP-50. Love the Bluetooth capability for quickly making patch changes. There’s a bug when assigning footswitches to modules. Any assignments I make in the app don’t appear on the pedal. For now, I just edit those directly on the pedal after I’m finished editing the preset in the app. However, I’m hoping the developers will fix this soon. I would also like to see a text field added to each preset—in the app more so than the pedal—so that I can add special notes to each preset, if desired (e.g., amp settings, guitar pickup choices, notes about modules that can be enabled/disabled with the footswitches, etc.). ### 4/5 — Super Pedal aber… *2025-12-01, version 1.0.3* Ich finde Pedal und App sehr gut umgesetzt. Absolut intuitiv der Sound ist völlig okay und es sind viele brauchbare dabei. Ansonsten kann das Gerät alles was man als Gitarrist so benötigt. Aber: alle 2-3 Minuten muss das Gerät neugestartet werden da die Bluetooth Verbindung abbricht. Sound kommt weiterhin aber man kann nicht mehr editieren. Das ist absolut unnütz und sollte umgehend per Update behoben werden. Its straightforward and has the important functions at hand. Only problem: battery drain! Since I‘m using the app I hardly make it through the day with one full charge if my iPhone 13pro. Connections worked and the ease of use and upgrade was a breath of fresh air. I am scared for other vendors as for the money this is amazing. What could they do with two or three of these in a box…. It’s still not bad but I’m now getting nagged about an upgrade to 1.0.4 App but this software is not in the App Store.
