I am never able to get to the local branch because of business hours so I try and use the app. But there are constantly issues such as the ones I’m having now trying to deposit checks through the app. And keep getting errors and logs out. Can never get in touch with anyone to fix the problem so I’m considering switching banks all together. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2022-09-02, version 19.0.7* Automated phone service and LIMITED online assistance. Communication efforts are the worst a business could hope for. Very unprofessional in all levels. Can’t call a single branch, automated phones don’t work, online can’t process any activity on my account. But it is necessary to take that action whenever I want to use it! Emails to the CU have brought no change. I’m thinking of quitting this financial institution because it is so frustrating. I have issues with the check deposit feature almost every time I use it; last time I had to send a $25 check to Richmond like I used to ten years ago. Something about this app just doesn’t make it user friendly. I husband refuses to even use the app any more because it is worthless. We are having to switch banks. This is only good for checking your balance; there is literally almost no other functionality. In fact, the display of information is so glitchy and poorly organized, you can barely even do that. And you certainly cannot deposit checks or control your debit card or do anything else most mobile banking apps offer. This is literally one of the worst apps I have ever used. The people at ValleyStar are friendly enough, but they really need some help with app and website development. ### 1/5 — Annoyed. *2018-12-06, version 18.1.76* This app continuously tells me that my informations is incorrect. I have logged in to the website, everything is correct. I have reset my information still doesn’t work. Don’t bother calling the people at the bank because they are just as clueless as you are. “Well no one else has told us there was an issue with it” well hello what the heck do you think I’m calling for!? I find this to be very helpful seeing the checks info on the checks that I write. It is barely functional beyond checking your balance — the way it lists transactions includes no helpful descriptions or details.
