The game dev is perfectly ok with it and refuses to punish people who cheat, it’s killing the game. ### 2/5 — Needs Work *2025-01-05, version 4.5.1* The original Valor app, even though it’s no longer getting new worlds, runs better and with less bugs than Reforged. Also there is a very poor system of communication within the game not just for player to player but also basically no way to communicate or gain information about the game from the app itself. It has more bugs than I can count on two hands and they don’t ever seem to get fixed. The worlds are many times too fast, too short, and pretty much all the time dominated by a group of people already previously in a guild. And to bring up the guilds. You’re screwed if you don’t get in one and even if you do, unless your spending money on coin to boost and/or constantly on the game & in one of the many third party communication apps they like to use, your basically just fodder for other people who have a previous group who no life the game and have sometimes anywhere from 2-10 alternate accounts to further boost and monopolize the entire world. Not always fair. I recommend to new players don’t use a single free coin you get until you have found one of the very few rare worlds where you actually have a chance of winning and not wasting every coin/$ you put into this mess. But in the end the potential and everything you could want is there. It just needs some more work polishing up the many issues. If there was one thing I would like most of all is for better communication between player and the system on basic information about the game, help with bugs & issues, dates & times of worlds, and so on. ### 1/5 — Horribly buggy *2024-10-13, version 4.3.1* Super excited to see them redo this game. Unfortunately, it’s almost unplayable because it’s so buggy. They improved some graphics but sacrificed almost all of the functionality. I will finish the worlds I'm in and then will bid Valor a fond farewell unless they bring back the "old" Valor. ### 3/5 — Love the game but it lost all connectivity *2023-10-01, version 3.3.3* I was having a blast with the game but abruptly it stopped connecting and when I reload it says “check your internet connection”. Just give me the option to enjoy the occasional old world. Conquerable barb style old world with old world barbs at the same time. Sounds fun. Very fun Update May 14th 2023 Decided to rejoin for the nostalgia. And the bugs are simply outrageous now. The game hasn’t been updated in 6 years according to the App Store. I don’t think it’s worth going back to anymore. Not to mention I bought and used gold in a world then it closed permanently after I did it. Definitely salty. Who wouldn’t be. I sure hope this gets some TLC. I love this game 😭 ### 1/5 — Horrible Customer Service *2023-01-27, version 3.3.3* As a long time player I recently came back to the game, I remember how much fun it was and with alittle more time to play I wanted to jump back in, however it’s impossible to get my old account back as every time I try and send a transfer email it never gets into my account, I would like to get all my old medals back as I worked very hard for them. I tried emailing their support directly and sending the merger email but got no response… terrible and unfortunate as I really do love the game… ### 1/5 — Don’t bother downloading, you can’t play *2022-11-26, version 3.3.3* This game has become truly unplayable. There are about 6-8 people who play who control the world each time one opens immediately. They destroy and take your city the moment they notice you on the map. This game stinks, every 24-48 hours you are starting all over again from square one. They obviously spent their life’s savings on coins to buy power ups because their cities and troops grow 10X faster than yours. This is a horrible waste of time, it’s annoying there are just a few names that pop up in every world and don’t let you play. DON’T DOWNLOAD, you won’t be able to play!! ### 4/5 — Addictive *2022-01-06, version 3.3.3* Fun, engaging, richly complex in its simplicity. While software-wise it could use some improvements/enhancements, it provides for hours of entertainment. Beware: you will develop a double life. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Fun game, horrible player base *2026-04-28, version 4.9.6* This game is fun for a few weeks, but the world is dominated by guilds that have thousands of cities and attack new players just getting off the ground. This results in a terrible experience where people with millions of resources just demolish anything you try to build for no other reason than to add to their literally thousands of existing cities. The truce is nice, but it just delays your death by 24 hours. The worst part is you can’t even message them if you aren’t in the guild to ask for peace or mercy. Would’ve loved to keep playing but it feels pointless to start from scratch knowing the same player will just keep eating up anything you create. ### 1/5 — Pay to play *2026-04-26, version 4.9.6* Use to be a fun game to play. But, due to the ongoing issue of the “explicit” players that spend tons of money. They have made it impossible to play and enjoy. They pay to play big money, so unless you are willing to do the same, they do not give you the chance to actually play and enjoy. Do not recommend. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time. *2026-03-24, version 4.9.6* This is a fun game, but stay away. The game is ruined by the admins. You’ll have a perfectly good world with a nice war building up and they will join, bring their crew, handout the endless admin gold they have to their team to get ahead of everybody and then bully. Even stooped low enough to bully the guy with a mental disability (everybody in the community knows this guy) who’s just trying to learn and enjoy the game. Take your money elsewhere these guys don’t deserve it. If you happen to avoid the admins and win a world, it doesn’t matter. The gold you get for a win will be delayed for 3-4 months and even longer if you are playing in a different world against those admins so you can’t use the win gold against them. Any titles you were supposed to receive for winning also are often forgotten about. (Unless you want to Venmo the owner a few thousand to avoid going through the Apple Store and get a massive chunk of gold to play with he may pay attention to your requests). Thanks Carnage for ruining a good game. ### 1/5 — Can’t even register to start playing *2026-02-16, version 4.9.6* I’ve been playing valor for years. Now that the original value has been abandoned by the devs, this seems to be the only value that gets any attention from the devs.. however, the game requires you to register to start playing and I out my info in and I get an error message saying I need to validate my email first. Ok, but no email gets sent to me to validate 🤦‍♂️ why have they abandoned such a great game? ### 1/5 — Devs promise fixes for money *2025-07-19, version 4.8.2* Devs have promised fixes to the community to promote in game purchases. The game is not functional and yet they respond with a currency sale instead of fixes. They relaunched the game to raise more money and relaunch has broken the game further. This is a money sink. It’s still great I guess they took a hiatus for some years and are back online now.
