I wouldn’t use another company in Basildon anymore and haven’t done for a few years. ### 5/5 — Superb! *2023-01-28, version 34.0.25* Found the app by chance whilst at Basildon Hospital, there is a freephone inside the main entrance but as I’m a bit of an app lover I thought I’d give it a go. Easy to use, notifies you when a car has been found and when it is on its way and the registration of the vehicle, along with the drivers name. I can pay by card in car or through the app via Apple or Google pay or if you prefer you can select to pay cash in vehicle. All in all it has been a superb app so far and the taxi company are really great. ### 5/5 — Best Cab App Available in the UK *2022-01-21, version 33.4.27* Fast, reliable service and live vehicle tracking. Driver added extra charges claiming to have been waiting but we were there as cab arrived. We were given a price of 13.20 on the app and then driver drove a longer route home and charged 14.80 at drop off. Her colleagues were laughing at the background! When I asked her if she was shouting at me she said NO and hung up the phone. Value Cars, Is this how you treat your customers? Are we paying to be treated like this? People who are impatient shouldnt be sitting answering phones for customers. I am so DISAPPOINTED with your service. Totally unacceptable!!! ### 1/5 — Invisible cab *2023-01-21, version 34.0.25* Disgusting …I was left waiting in the dark & cold, taxi driver phoned me 3 times to ask where I was then text to say he had arrived, well he must of had an invisible car because I never saw it. So I phoned the office he said he’d get another car so I waited & waited & waited phoned them back he said I was rude ( I wonder why) so I told him where he could park he’s cab……. My Nephew came & picked me up…. by the way I’m 77 so I don’t like standing out in the cold & dark. ### 1/5 — The Worst cab company *2022-06-23, version 33.5.41* I wanted to order 2 cabs to take our party to a private bash at the Q ball but it seems you can’t do that and I would have to order 2 separate ones which would look like I had wrongly duplicated it. I decided to order by phone. I double checked the operator had my address correct before we ended our conversation. I only booked one way because we were unsure of the function end time. A little later that was confirmed so we called again and ordered 2 cabs for the return and decided to check they had my first booking right at the same time. They didn’t and had the cabs booked from the train station less than a minutes walk from our destinations. The writing was on the wall!! So, just one cab turned up for the outward journey and we had to make several calls to get the second. For the return at 00:30 am just one turned up, the driver was rude and spouted out of his window on arrival “ only three”. So, he took 3 of the girls home and dropped them at the end of our unlit road because it is unmade. We made numerous calls to try and get the second cab and despite repeated promises it would be with us in several minutes it never arrived. After 45 minutes I gave up, downloaded the Uber app and ordered an Uber which picked us up in less than 10 minutes. There is little point cab companies whinging about Uber when they cannot deliver, especially when the cabs were booked several hours in advance. VC will not get any further business from me and I am deleting their useless app, but keeping the Uber one. I hope Uber puts them out of business!! ### 1/5 — Customer care call centre *2018-04-18, version 12.15* Just booked a cab from beehive received a message 1829 taxi on route 1844 called to say no cab as of yet customer friendly person on the other end nothing on my screen me my message white Dacia on route she nothing on my screen me my message she I don’t care hung up have used value cars for years regularly local and frequent airport runs Gatwick but after this no more bring it on A&B might be a little more expensive but reliable and not offensive to there customers value cars all I can say is staff training customer friendly. ### 2/5 — The driver was on the phone all the way home *2024-05-16, version 36.1.0* Me, my mum and my sister had Toby carvery tonight and the driver who picked us all up was on the phone from the restaurant all the way home and me and my mum found it so rude plus he wasn’t interacting with any of us and the driver is called Tayyab ### 3/5 — Can’t reset my password! *2024-05-07, version 36.1.0* This app was really good until the update, I’ve typed in what I thought was my password but no luck I’ve then tried to reset my password but I never get the email and yes I have checked my spam and junk mail but with no luck.
