We set out to create a serious RPG for mobile phones without the usual mobile game mechanics. There's no energy system. There's no 50-click tutorial. There's little hand holding. There are, in our opinion, interesting battle mechanics, funny dialogues and a sense of wonder in the world. Interesting battle dynamics. There is a bit of pay to play component but not too prominent. I plan to finish it and then work my way through the rest of this developers games. It gives Diablo 2 vibes, which is so nostalgic for me, AND you get to be a vampire! It's super rare in games and I love it. As for the gameplay, it becomes a bit boring quickly. There's not much you can do in a fight, and you have to grind to level up because if you don't, every second enemy in the area will kill you. I personally am not a big fan of grinding. It's fun to go around villages talking to people, they sometimes tell you stories, sometimes jokes which are funny - you can feel that the developers are invested in the game, and it's priceless. The ads are unobtrusive: you can use them to get more resources and stuff but no one shoves them into your face every minute. All in all, I highly recommend the game, it's a treasure in these times when there's so much digital garbage around.
