I have the annual subscription and when doing some more looking I found this.

The app says it’s using ChatGPT 5.2, but when you ask the bot what version it is you get,
I’m ChatGPT running on OpenAI’s **GPT-4.1** family of models.

The app says it’s using Claude Haiku 4.5, but when you ask the bot what version it is you get
I'm Claude 3.5 Sonnet, made by Anthropic.

These are ancient models. This is deceptive in my mind. One star rating is being generous. Hey Apple, how bout a refund.

I’m on the latest version of iOS 26.2.1 The app works, however, it’s really slow on startup and after closing the app I have to go through the onboarding screen again. I sent support an email a few days ago, but I guess it didn’t make it in this update or they can’t reproduce it. Never received a reply, so who knows…

Lizenz über mehrere Geräte im gleichen Account zulassen

Chats geräteübergreifend via iCloud syncen. 
Ggf mit Verschlüsselungen arbeiten

Daher aktuell nur drei Sterne.

Aber die Idee Datenschutzfreundlich zu handeln unterstütze ich zu 100%

This AI app works tremendously well and I can even get it on my desktop mac. I am concerned for the excessive encroachment of the surveillance that is happening across the world. So I love that it is private because that gives me the confidence that my questions and interactions are being kept private and are not being linked to me. I also use their Startpage search engine, as well as their private encrypted email platform, StartMail. This is a great trustworthy company who supports internet freedom and privacy, and has for years. They added ChatGPT and I am excited for their future improvements as well.

Бесплатно+лучшие модели+локально на телефоне для приватности, также маленький вес приложения - проще говоря топ. Надеюсь в дальнейшем не сделаете сервис приватным и с какими то ограничениями, а так супер!

Love that it gives access to multiple ai models. It’s like using llms on incognito mode. And disabling chat history adds some peace of mind.
