## What is VanityTrack?

VanityTrack is a local-first cosmetics inventory for the makeup and skincare on your counter. Log a product, mark when you opened it, and the app computes a toss-by date from the industry-standard period-after-opening window for that category.

- New Clash tab: each saved AM or PM routine is scanned as written, so you see which bottles would actually meet in one sitting — retinoid plus AHA, vitamin C plus benzoyl peroxide, and other published layering clashes.
- Time-of-day mismatches: a morning routine that includes a PM-preferred active (like retinol) is flagged as Split AM/PM, even when there is no pair conflict.
- Distinct from Conflict Checker: Clash uses your named routines, not a manual whole-inventory picker.
- Native Vanity, Products, Routines, Clash, and More tabs. The overlay dock is gone.
- All inventory, PAO math, and clash rules stay on device. No account.

This update sharpens the interface: the iPad layout now uses a centered, comfortable reading width instead of stretching edge to edge, plus small display fixes. iPhone is unchanged.

• Batch-code decoder: read a printed Julian/date code and get the manufacture date, batch age, and freshness verdict — with correct leap-year handling. Tap to use it as the purchase date.
• Ingredient-conflict checker: auto-reads the actives in your inventory, flags clashing pairs with the fix, and splits them into an AM/PM plan (and busts a few myths).
• AM/PM routine sequencer: every routine shows a numbered, thinnest-to-thickest application order with phase warnings.
• Declutter "use it up" scanner: a new Tidy tab surfacing expired, aging-unused, and old-but-sealed items with one-tap toss or archive.

- New Shopping List in the Pro dashboard: see exactly what to buy or reorder, ranked by urgency (expired with no backup -> buy now; within lead window -> buy soon; stash unit ready -> open your backup). Total buy-now replacement cost shown at a glance.
- Stash count on every product: log how many sealed backup units you have waiting. Products with a stash are automatically removed from the shopping list until you need them.
- Restock lead time per product: set how many days before the toss-by date you want an early-warning (default 7 days). The reorder reminder date appears on the product detail page.
- "Open your backup" prompt: when a product is aging or expired and you have a stash unit, a one-tap button resets the opened date and decrements your stash count so the clock starts fresh.
- Stash & Restock card on every product detail page: shows your backup count, lead time, total coverage (current unit + stash combined), and the upcoming reorder date.
- All data stays on your device. No account, no network, no ads.

VanityTrack 1.2 adds a Pro Dashboard driven by your real inventory: cost-per-day and an efficiency grade for every open product, a shelf-audit score with replace/aging lists, and an offline stability guide for 10 active ingredients (Vitamin C, Retinol, AHA/BHA and more). Plus PDF export, a cost-per-day card on each product, and five new categories tuned to ingredient degradation. Fully offline.
