No matter where you are in the app, it will assist you with your smoothest ride yet:

* No keys are needed, your bike smartly recognizes you. Unlock your bike with just a tap or create a personal unlock code to easily unlock your bike without your phone.
* Check how much battery your bike has (and Powerbank if you have one).
*  View your current speed, distance, and ride duration on your in-app live dashboard.
* Adjust your bike settings instantly on the home screen. You can change your motor assistance, gears, lights, bell sound, and other bike sounds.

* Look back at every trip with a detailed ride overview. 
* You can view every journey, including the time, distance, maximum and average speed, if you stopped, and how much battery it cost.

### 2/5 — Battery Percentage and Range issues on ride recordings

I’ve had my
VanMoof for a few months now and the app really feels like an afterthought compared to
the amount of tech that has been put into this bike. For one, the used battery percentage shown for your past rides never add up to what you’ve alctually used. For instance if I’ve used 50% of my battery in two rides (from full) in most cases the app records a 15% usage per ride. Also, VanMoof really lacks of a smart battery optimisation system software to charge to 80% to preserve the battery etc…

Not enjoying this at all. The erratic nature of the “Range” is quite the spectacle, from 38 miles to 28 miles in a mile & a half, down to 18 miles after a 4 mile work trip. The app will adjust slightly once the bike rests but is this just the life of anyone that owns an electric vehicle? Car or otherwise? You have to give it your best guess “because it’s a battery” & the app cannot keep up with its irregularities. Or can Vanmoof improve the experience?
The constant reminder asking me to “Set up Apple Find My” every time I turn on the app is annoying. If I dismiss it, can the app not understand that I don’t want to use it? 
Notifications (if at all) arrive a day or two after.
Can we either improve the map/GPS so it’s functional or just get rid of it? 
It could be I expect too much. Paying a lot of money for the Vanmoof experience I thought would ensure a quality app but sadly I’m left wishing I had taken other options at this time. I hope you find the feedback constructive & that we can move forward. Best…

Top app, alleen vind ik het lastig dat mijl wordt gebruikt als maateenheid en niet kilometer. Is er een optie om dit aan te passen?

表題の通り、アプリ上のバッテリー残高と自転車側で確認できる残高の数値がおかしい。
アプリ上のバッテリー残高数値が変動しなくなった。

Nach anfänglichen Problemen mit dem eShifter läuft mein S3 seit einigen tausend Kilometern völlig fehlerfrei. Ich hoffe das bleibt trotz dem aktuellen Insolvenzverfahren auch weiterhin möglichst lange so 🤘🏻 Ich Fahrrad ist einfach toll, zur Not eben mit ner anderen App, aber vielleicht findet sich ja ein Käufer. Alles Gute ans Team

Update 2025: Das S3 läuft nach wie vor fast fehlerfrei von Frühjahr bis Spätherbst im fast täglichen Einsatz. Der Boost-Knopf reagiert mittlerweile etwas zäh, da scheint die Mechanik im Knopf so langsam aufzugeben, aber sonst gibt‘s nicht‘s zu bemängeln.

Mit über 8000 km und vielen Updates ist Zeit für ein kurzes Fazit. Das S3 fahre ich sehr gerne fast täglich seit 3 Jahren und es sieht immer noch gut aus. Wie bei fast allen, musste E-Shifter repariert und Batterie gecheckt werden, sonst nur Kleinigkeiten. Bei der App und deren Updates ist man allerdings vom Betreiber abhängig. Mit der Version 1.9.3 gibt es App-in-kauf zu Pro. Da kann man die Optionen der ehemaligen Bike-Hunter nutzen und sein gestohlenes Bike selbst verfolgen. Warum sehe ich diese Option erst nach dem Herunterladen der App und keine Infos über den Preis? Wer schließt ein Abo ab, ohne zu wissen was das kostet…?
So verärgert Ihr treue Kunden. Für mich ist das unseriös. Schade, ich kann Vanmoof nicht mehr empfehlen.

Mein S3 zeigt immer mal wieder error 48 oder 45 an! Ich ignoriere dies , da die App und das Rad komplett normal funktioniert und fährt!
Schade ist das die Roadmap nur im Dark-Mode angezeigt wird. Etwas Farbe zumindest für eine bessere Übersicht oder gar ein intregiertes Navi wäre nicht auszuhalten!

Insgesamt gesehen eine recht gute App. Absolut unprofessionell dagegen ist die Verwendung der Gendersprache (Totgeburt) und der Hang zur Regenbogenideologie z.B. bei den Darstellungsoptionen. Der Nutzer könnte sich dahingehend die Frage stellen, ob die vielen Error-Meldungen am VanMoof S3 mit der Ideologie zum anderen Ufer zusammenhängen.

Plus, account deletion is now safer: it automatically checks for active Find My, Ride Pro subscriptions, and bike access before proceeding.
