## What is Vanta?

Vanta is a private Markdown notes app for iPhone with AI that runs entirely on your phone, and real GTD built in. Your notes stay as plain Markdown you own. Start with a local vault in seconds: no account, no servers, nothing uploaded.

• Inline playback: ![[clip.mp4]] embeds now play right in your notes. Portrait clips pop to full screen; small videos load automatically, large ones stay tap-to-load so you never burn cellular data by surprise.
• Capture video: pick a clip from your photo library and Vanta compresses it and drops it inline — fully Obsidian-compatible.
• More forgiving parsing: notes with loose indentation, mixed bullet styles, or varied checkbox syntax no longer silently drop items from your Inbox, Next Actions, or Weekly Review.
