Having the app suddenly decide- Oh you wanted to go back to the login page when you were a second away from being done making said transfer and now have to do it all over again- is really aggravating. Shaving off seconds of my fleeting existence on this Earth just to do something I was already basically done with. Other than that the app is lovey. P.S. Not thrilled about having to wait 10 “business” days for a new card in the mail when one, in the past, could go in and get a new one same day at a branch location. 😕 ### 1/5 — Customer Service *2024-08-15, version 4012.2.0* The app has many flaws and vantage west as a business is a a horrible credit union. Zelle doesn’t recognize me as having a Zelle account when used within the VWCU app. No one can find me, and I cannot request money through the Zelle function. Absolutely worthless ### 1/5 — Vantage West is not useful for travelers *2026-03-19, version 4019.1.0* I've had consistent implacable issues with Vantage West when it comes to making transactions. They are often flagged as fraud without asking me first. then getting my card unlocked is a whole ordeal, especially when I am traveling abroad, which is most of the time. I am within a millimeter of transferring my business to another bank or credit union because of consistent issues with false positives concerning denied transactions. today, I called Vantage West and attempted to remedy the issues and they told me it was fine and that the card would be unlocked. I attempted the same transaction again for airbnb and it failed again. This has been a consistent issue and has only gotten worse with time. ### 1/5 — Thief’s *2026-03-11, version 4019.1.0* Been banking with them since it was Davis-Monthan federal credit union. I’ve had their rewards credit card for quite some time and always treated the rewards points as an emergency savings account because they didn’t expire. Well with zero notification through their app nor email they apparently changed their credit card rewards system and stole over $2200 of money I had saved up. Of course they blamed me, told me they sent out emails of the change sometime in 2024 even though I went back through my emails to 2022 and there is nothing mentioning rewards changes beginning 2026. Pretty disappointing/ infuriating since my family has been banking there for decades but like most things these days quality service is a rare commodity. ### 1/5 — Review *2026-02-18, version 4019.1.0* Not a fan of No tellers and no drive up window. Do not use this bank if you want your money to be safe. ### 1/5 — Unnecessary fees *2024-11-14, version 4014.0.0* I accidentally pressed the protection fee because it was my first time using this app. It didn’t show me the total I was sending and the person that received the money didn’t get the full money. I wanted to cancel the transfer and it didn’t allow me to do so, so now I payed $6 more for no reason. ### 1/5 — DO NOT BLOCK YOUR CARD *2024-11-01, version 4014.0.0* IF YOU BLOCK YOUR CARDS USING THIS APP, THE APP WILL ALWAYS BREAK AND NOT LET YOU UNBLOCK THEM. EVEN CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THIS BANK ARE COMPLETELY USELESS IN EVERY REGARD. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU. THEY WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU’RE ASKING IS “IMPOSSIBLE”. DO NOT EVER USE VANTAGE WEST. They are outstanding and willing to help with your banking needs. We have been customers for so many years I can honestly tell you it’s the best bank for us. We have never have such great experience at vantage west. We have had other banks that doesn’t beat the great customer service e and banking needs as of Vantage west.
