Hat in der schwachen Herbstthermik nicht funktioniert. Unter 1,5m/s Steigen war nur ab und zu ein einzelner Ton zu hören. Darüber gehts dann, aber gerade im Schwachen wäre das Vario nötig. Ich habe ein iPhone 14 Pro Max, da soll der Sensor ja angeblich gut sein. **Developer response:** Hallo Paranaut, hast du im Menü auch den Schalter „verzögerungsfreies Piepsen“ aktiviert? Standardmäßig ist dieser aus! Déso pour mes 3 euros 🙄 **Developer response:** Bonjour, la latence dépend de l'appareil. Sur notre site web, nous avons un aperçu à ce sujet. A partir de l'Apple watch 6, la latence est comparable à celle des appareils à 500 euros. En revanche, il y a une période d'essai gratuite de 3 jours pendant laquelle on peut tout essayer avec son appareil spécifique. ### 2/5 — Subscription model sucks. *2022-10-16* Looks promising, I might be interested if you could actually purchase it. But with a subscription model….not interested. Why not buy a vario that I can pay for once and actually own, rather than rent some code for the rest of my life? No thanks. **Developer response:** If we offered a one-time payment, then there would be no feature updates. Through the subscription model we are continuously releasing new features. In addition, all your flights (unlimited number) including GPS data are stored on our server, which costs monthly server costs. Furthermore, there are 2 apps (Apple watch and Iphone) that we want to maintain and develop further and that work independently of each other, but still share a digital flight log. The annual cost for this is equivalent to a pizza with 1 large beer. We want to continue to build stable and tested software, support Apple Watch and Iphone separately and provide all the meaningful features that high end varios offer. We are working hard on this every day and we will get there. For me as a paraglider pilot, it's a great experience to fly alone with the Apple Watch and display my Gps track later in all kinds of applications. Un peu de latence entre la montée réelle et le premier bip, mais pas beaucoup plus qu’avec un Vario classique. Les traces sont propres, et le carnet de vols est très pratique. Par contre : - sur Apple Watch Ultra, le volume minimum pour le bip est enorme ! Il faudrait un niveau intermédiaire entre « pas de son du tout » et le volume 1 actuel. - sur l’iPhone, pourquoi faut-il « réveiller » le Vario pour consulter le carnet de vol ? C’est pénible de simplement vouloir consulter ses vols et entendre le Vario qui bip alors que je me trouve dans le canapé . **Developer response:** Bonjour Zeromhz, Merci beaucoup ! Le volume peut être réglé dans l'application et aussi sur la molette de l'horloge. Si tu tournes la molette de l'horloge, tu es sûr d'obtenir un volume plus faible 👍 ### 4/5 — Bonne appli *2023-07-16* Je viens d’essayer Vario One sur Apple Watch Ultra et l’app donne satisfaction. Un peu de latence quand même, je suis sûr que ça peut être amélioré! Autre point d’amélioration: la vitesse du vent, qui est restée à zéro pendant tout le vol, et était indiquée à 10km/h max à la fin, alors que mes balises étaient à 25km/h a l’heure où j’ai décollé. ### 5/5 — reagiert schnell auf Feedback & Ideen *2026-06-30* Ich nutze VarioOne zusammen mit der ActiveLook Brille und finde die Kombi fantastisch. Live alle Werte im Blick zu haben, ohne im Thermikkreisen auf das Display schauen zu müssen, ist sehr hilfreich. Ich bin gespannt auf die nächsten Updates und weitere Funktionen. Cool, wenn man direkt Feedback bekommt und dieses so schnell in die Entwicklung fließt. ## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Sehr zu empfehlen, besonders für Anfänger *2024-10-15* Sehr gut um Flugdaten aufzuzeichnen und im Logbuch zu verwalten. Starterkennung funktioniert super, somit kann die App einfach im Hintergrund laufen. Flüge lassen sich dank dem Logbuch einfach nachweisen und verwalten. Beispielsweise kann die Leitlinien-Acht anschließend über die Kartenansicht kontrolliert werden. ### 5/5 — Genial *2024-09-29* Absolut perfekte App für gelegentliches Fliegen bei dem man nur das Tracking benötigt. Sogar die Unterstützung der ActiveLook Brille funktioniert. So erhält man quasi alleine mit einer Apple Watch alle funktionen eines Varios. Eine grafische Komponente zum finden und zentrieren von Thermiken wäre noch wünschenswert. ### 5/5 — Lo mejor y simple de usar. *2024-09-23, version 4.2* Me encanta la app. La última mejora de subir track al XContest facilita mucho el proceso. Por poner solo una pega, me encantaría que pudiera tener sonido diferente para marcar el descenso, como lo tiene el blueBip por ejemplo! Mit der Anzeige in der Sonnenbrille, das ist absolut futuristisch , und funktioniert hervorragend .
