Whenever I record a video with an external mic, the audio keeps cutting out intermittently, there are a few seconds of audio, then a few seconds of silence. Please make that happen and you’ll have your 5 stars 👍 ### 2/5 — Good app *2025-11-04* Love the app — the photo and video quality is seriously impressive, and the filters are great. Doesn’t feel like your typical smartphone camera, which I really appreciate. That said, the design could be a lot better. The way you switch between the camera and gallery feels a bit clunky. If you can swipe to go to the gallery, you should be able to swipe back too. And if it’s a tap, then put the return button in the same spot — keep it consistent. The shutter button placement is also weird. In portrait mode it’s fine, but in landscape it’s way down at the bottom — like, who takes pictures with their pinky? Just doesn’t feel natural. And switching between portrait and landscape feels like jumping between two separate apps. It’s slow, and honestly kind of kills the flow. Doesn’t have that smooth, real-camera feel. Overall, the app is good — just hope they tighten up the user experience soon. *Update: Keeps sending me Upgrade Ads from time to time even though I already have the Lifetime edition. -1 **Developer response:** Hi, maybe you logout your account? The app appeared to be recording (ticker counting up, and red border around the screen). When I press the red button again. Nothing would happen. Everything looked the same. Then when I pressed record again, it appeared to close out the recording. This went on for the majority of the recordings. Went to go review the videos and out of the 20+ videos we took.. only 4 of them actually saved recordings. VERY disappointing as we have no back up of those videos and now they’re lost forever…. I would be very leery using this application for recording videos of something important because there’s a chance they’re not going to save and it’s all for nothing. We have used the photo feature without any issues. Saves every time. I am currently on the yearly payment but don’t see the option to upgrade? This camera does nearly everything I want it to do. It feels like a full professional kit inside of an iPhone. So far, I’ve been able to get high end photos and videos. Once in a while, I’ve had a hard time with low-light but the native iPhone camera does that real well.
