I was relying on it for all my financial plannings and visibility. But lately due to not being able to pull data from Capitec, it’s becoming difficult to open this app as its not longer accurate for me. ### 3/5 — New update is awful *2023-04-28, version 5.0.1* Loves this app so much until the new update, its no longer easy to use, its uglier, login is more tedious,it is definitely not an upgrade. ### 3/5 — New Update great but some steps in wrong direction *2020-11-25, version 3.0.2* The new update is a welcome improvement but the removed gestures and replaced it with a way out there back button It was fast swiping between months and swiping back on transactions and categories etc now it’s all hard tap actions which too all the intuitiveness the app had away ### 4/5 — Potential 5 star but it needs a little bit more.. *2019-11-03, version 2.10.14* I love the app, it’s come a long way and it’s got even more potential. Their Nudge feature needs to be more prominent and if it could render charts based off your habits it would give some nice insights into your lifestyle. Another nice feature would be to give you “nudges” when you’re about to buy a coffee or fast food and instead prompts you to put that spend away into the savings instead. Completely change the way you think about money with this app and the best part of it is that it's free! ### 5/5 — One of my top 5 most used apps *2018-07-20, version 2.8.33* I remember the skepticism that this app was greeted with when it first came out, by users, the banks and even some in the press. And it was all to do with the fact that you have to login to financial institutions within the app, thus the fear that info this would be misused by the developer. Well, it’s a few years on and not one data breach via this app and/or site. I just wanted to express my gratitude to the team that seems to work tirelessly to ensure that we as its users have all the support we need. My only gripe would be that there’s yet to be an iPad-compatible version of the app. But otherwise, onwards and upwards! ### 5/5 — 22Seven Brilliance *2018-04-19, version 2.8.27* Awesome budgeting tool. It picked up when I was double charged - saved me money, and has amazing insight into my spending habits. The support team is the best in SA, hands down. That means I need to sign in again, set up TouchID etc. Either keep the existing config between upgrades or integrate with 1Password in the login dialog. Design is not iOS, it’s too congested and font is terrible. It’s also too buggy. Some functionalities that were on the old design are no longer available here on the new design. It is so confusing. Please bring back the money in and out bars. But unfortunately have to use most of the services on the website. Over time this app became pretty much useless. It cannot updates accounts that requires OTP reliably and crashes often. Also, it is very slow to analyse anything and applying filters take an age to apply. The app isn’t perfect but it’s very, very good and getting gradually better all the time. It quickly became my ‘go to’ for checking account balances, transactions and budgets. I’ve never had any security breach with regards to linking my bank accounts. The app is completely safe. I can hardly believe it’s free. There is no better way to track spending of small amounts and things like bank fees and charges and what you’re paying in interest if you have debt. It’s a great motivator to reduce debt when you can see exactly what the interest is costing you. You can even create your own categories if need and break them down any way you want to. This app shows me what my real spending and saving actually looks like. I couldn’t live without it. ### 5/5 — From 20Twenty to 22Seven *2021-08-28, version 3.5.9* Back in 2001 when I got my 20Twenty card delivered in the most amazing packaging from a company that delivered exquisite service & respect, I didn’t even know that I would never have a problem with the card or miscellaneous hidden charges right up until they closed down. Now, the creators of that brilliant pre-Facebook era online card company ask me to let them use technology to evaluate my spending habits & automagically classify my expenses and watch for double-charges as well as see all my wealth across banks in one spot… there is really no way I can say no. ### 5/5 — Financially irresponsible not to have this *2020-08-30, version 2.10.22* I thought I was organized with my budget in excel but the level of financial visibility this app gives you is incredibly useful.
