However, the selling point is the integration with your phone via Bluetooth. I have had the safe for 2 years and have never been able to pair the app/phone/safe. The clock is ALWAYS off because you cannot pair the app with the safe. Multiple attempts through customer service achieve zero success. A product of your reputation needs to have matching technology if that’s what you’re selling. The app keeps turning the clock off on the safe for some reason. This has happened multiple times and I’ve had to turn it back on multiple times. ### 2/5 — So disappointing compared to WiFi *2023-12-22, version 1.3.4* I had to use this app for BT functions on a new Vaultek safe I bought, which doesn’t have WiFi capabilities. I have another of their safes that works on WiFi and it works pretty well. The app is slow to connect, sometimes it takes over 30 seconds to connect or just times out. No notifications are sent to the app from the safe if it is opened or tampered with. The safe itself is great. Super smooth. The app and changing display are garbage. It only connects 30% of the time and I have to literally stand right beside the safe. If anything happens I will never know. The set up was easy maybe 15 minutes. The clock sinks with the app. My fingerprint works every time. Shouldn’t need this to set the time but once it’s connected the time goes by what’s on your phone. The fact you can adjust volume, brightness and tones is great. Most times when I open up the safe, the display settings on the front change. When that occurs, I have to get my phone and bring it near the safe and redo my preferred front panel settings. Overall I really like it, but the display changes randomly for no apparent reason. I generally keep just the clock displayed. But some days I’ll come home and every display option is on, or clock is off but shows temp and humidity or everything’s off. I just go into the app settings and change it back.
