## What is Vaultora?

Vaultora records and keeps: video, audio and time-lapse photos, encrypted
straight into a vault on your device. Plus a vault for everything else you want
kept safe — documents, photos, archives.

PLEASE READ FIRST

Vaultora has no access to your data, and that comes at a price:

- The vault is deliberately NOT backed up to iCloud. A restored iPhone shows
  no vaults.
- The only way onto a new device is an encrypted archive you create yourself.
  Do it before you switch phones.
- A forgotten secret means the data is gone for good. There is no master key,
  and we cannot help you.

If that is too strict for you, Vaultora is not the right app.

RECORDING

- Video, audio and time-lapse photos at intervals you choose
- Front and rear camera, live view, markers during a recording
- Recording starts immediately, not after the first interval
- The screen can be dimmed while recording, so it does not glare in the dark
  and uses less power. The iOS camera and microphone indicators stay visible.

KEEPING

- Two vaults, each with its own secret
- Folders, search, filter by type
- Face ID or Touch ID as a convenient alternative to typing
- Preview for PDF, images, video, audio and text files
- Unpack ZIP archives, including password-protected ones

IN AND OUT

- Import from the photo library, from Files, via AirDrop and the share sheet
- Transfer over your own Wi-Fi using a server you start yourself — no cloud,
  no account, one-time password
- Encrypted archives for backup and moving to a new device
- Export single files or whole selections

APPLE WATCH (included in Pro)

- Start and stop a recording from your wrist without touching the phone
- Switch mode, switch camera, drop a marker
- Elapsed time, free space and warnings at a glance
- Framing aid: a still from the camera on your watch

WHAT VAULTORA DOES NOT DO

- No data collection, no telemetry, no ads, no tracking
- No account, no sign-up, no server of ours
- No subscription

PRICE

Free with 15 files per vault — viewing, playback and export stay unrestricted.
A one-time purchase removes the limit and unlocks further features, including
Apple Watch, Wi-Fi upload and the alternative app icons. No recurring costs.

LEGAL NOTICE

Vaultora is meant for recordings you are entitled to make. Recording spoken
words without the consent of those involved is a criminal offence in Germany
under § 201 StGB, and is prohibited or restricted in many other countries.
Personality rights apply to photos and video as well. You are responsible for
making sure your recordings are lawful.
