## What is Vaultwarden Password Manager?

Your encrypted vault, connected to the server you control.
Vaultwarden Client is an independent iPhone and iPad app for users who already have access to a compatible self-hosted Vaultwarden server. Connect to your own server and manage credentials through a native Apple-platform experience.
MANAGE YOUR VAULT
• Store logins, secure notes, cards, identities, and SSH keys
• Organize items with personal folders and shared collections
• Access an encrypted offline copy of your vault
• Create, edit, archive, restore, and delete vault items
• Sync changes automatically when your server becomes available  
AUTOFILL AND PASSKEYS
• Fill usernames and passwords in apps and websites
• Fill time-based verification codes
• Search your vault when no automatic match is found
• Create and save passwords directly from AutoFill
• Register and use passkeys with device authentication  
GENERATE STRONG CREDENTIALS
Create strong passwords, memorable passphrases, and unique usernames. Generated values use clear character styling and can be copied when needed.
SHARE ENCRYPTED SENDS
Share encrypted text or files using your server. Protect Sends with a password, expiration time, deletion date, and access limits.
SECURITY RECOMMENDATIONS
Review weak, reused, and exposed passwords. Password breach checks use a privacy-preserving range request, so the complete password and complete hash never leave your device.
PROTECTED ON YOUR DEVICE
• Unlock with Face ID, Touch ID, or device authentication
• Store session material in iOS Keychain
• Automatically lock the app when it is no longer active
• Keep the offline vault and pending changes encrypted
• No advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics  
A compatible self-hosted Vaultwarden server and an existing account are required. This app does not provide server hosting.
