Sounds almost like my A100. I run it thru a Pro3T rotary, and it’s excellent. If you want more features get VB3-II of course, but the one thing I’d love to see ported from VB3-II to VB3m is the parametric EQ. I have just a limited frequency range that needs to be tamed when 3rd harmonic percussion is active, and it would be far better to do it in the app than via external EQ. My back X-rays will prove it. How thrilling to get the sound I love in an iPad app with all the flexibility and history of the original instrument. I’ve been using the app for 5 months on live gigs. Thank you. ### 5/5 — Superb Programming *2023-01-08, version 1.2.3* Guido’s brilliant programming has truly captured the essence of the unique and rich sound of the Hammond tonewheel organ/ Leslie tube type rotary speaker. I used the original VB3 on my laptop for live performances on a regular basis, for years. He has since brought this remarkable sounding Hammond/Leslie combo to the IOS platform. Taking VB3m to the next level, Guido has given us the very same Leslie emulator, for our IOS devices, as is included in the newest laptop version of VB3 ver 2. This new Leslie emulator gives you greater control over its entire operation. He has accomplished all of this in an extremely tiny footprint at an equally minuscule price. Purchasing VB3m and Rotary speaker is a must have combo for all keyboard players! Thanks, Guido for your remarkable programming abilities. ### 4/5 — Good. Needs a graphic resolution update *2022-08-16* Sounds great, stable, good MIDI options. Works great on iPhone 11, and iPad Pro 2015. Good drive/distortion sound. Uses lots of battery, works poorly on old original iPhone SE (2016) due to system resources, graphics are very low res (needs fixing!), please add a control to change the fast/slow Leslie transition speed. It sounds great out of the box and is definitely worth the reasonable price. It has adjustable bass sustain which the B3-X badly needs. But I’d have liked to have seen more Leslie tweaks re: speed and ramp-up times, amp models,etc. Minor nitpicks-it sounds great as is and I just learned how to program presets. Also, ui is pixelated and needs a refresh. ### 3/5 — Sounds great but blurry graphics on iPad Pro 12” *2022-06-06* Please update this with Retina graphics ### 3/5 — Please fix this, Guido. *2022-01-11* I really do not want to damage the rating of this app, but… On GarageBand, the sound only plays if I hit a note every 15 or so times on the GarageBand keyboard. The first note is the upper (or lower) manual, the second one is the pedals, and then after that is just the clicking of the keys. This issue does not persist in Cubasis 2. The organ sounds incredible, but the faulty controls for GarageBand make it nearly unusable. The same issue persists with Yonac’s Galileo. **Developer response:** The only fact that the same "issue" persists ONLY WITH GARAGE BAND and with BOTH VB3m and and Galileo should make it evident that the issue is not with the plugin but is with Garage Band. And the reason why this happens is that both VB3m and Galileo respond on multiple MIDI channels for upper, lower and pedalboard, OMNI is not supported. On the other hand, Garage Band cycles through all 16 channels every time a new note is played, this also explains why you hear a note on the upper, the next on the lower then nothing for 14 notes, then back on the upper. Your 3 stars should go to Garage Band, not to VB3m. ### 3/5 — VB3m *2021-12-23, version 1.2.0* Bello di per se ma ho difficoltà con iPad 9 generazione a collegarlo con la tastiera midi e la scheda audio avendo preso un adattatore con due porte usb, quando lo collego si scurisce l’app e non si sente nulla, con altri sinth virtuali che ho non succede vorrei un consiglio o qualche suggerimento ### 3/5 — Problema GarageBand *2021-09-20, version 1.2.0* Ottima app, grande suono, ma su IPad Pro 2018 non funziona minimamente con la tastiera nativa di GarageBand come Audio Unit , ma solo come Inter-App Audio o device midi esterni. Nessun problema invece con Cubasis, ma spero in un aggiornamento perché l’ho acquistata principalmente per usarla in mobilità come plugin MIDI con GarageBand. I haven’t yet tried double manuals and a volume pedal yet but that’s next. The Leslie effect is wonderful as well. If you love the Hammond experience don’t hesitate to get this! I can’t recommend this enough! It’s great to see someone who really cares deliver such a wonderful musical tool.
