Performance Test is a companion app for the VBOX Sport which uses a high accuracy GPS receiver to enhance the capabilities of your iPhone. This app requires a connection to a VBOX Sport to collect performance data. Without this connection you will only be able to see a demonstration of its capabilities, it will not allow you to measure the performance of your car. The VBOX Sport collects GPS data much more frequently than a phones internal GPS engine - allowing a level of accuracy previously unheard of with iPhone and iPad apps. Our Performance Test app uses this data to provide you with your vehicle's acceleration, deceleration and VMAX as previously only possible with professional Racelogic VBOX equipment. You can quickly and accurately measure your 0-60 acceleration time, turn your test track into a dragstrip and measure your 1/4 mile time and trap speed. Different modes allow you to measure your braking performance and zero to zero times, all using the same VBOX technology used by all the major motor manufacturers and car magazines around the world. All of the apps functionality is available when you are connected via Bluetooth to an iOS device running iOS 14.0 or later. If you are not connected to a VBOX Sport the app will launch in demo mode to allow you to sample the features. Bug fixes • Demo mode no longer launched when Bluetooth is connected. • Acceleration results graph was slightly offset for time and speed. • When using demo mode the start speed will now revert back to 0 when restored to the default test ranges. • UI alignment fixes. ### 2.8.15 — 2020-03-20 Speed to distance tests - it is now possible to start on a speed and end after a specified distance.
