## What is VCF Track?

Filter retrieval can be a vital part of the process of using vena cava filters.  More than ever, it’s important to follow your patients and--when appropriate--retrieve their filters.  

To ensure patient safety is at the forefront, Cook Medical has created VCF Track for managing key information about filters, recipients, manufacture brands, implanting, and referral physicians. It’s an organizational tool that will make it easier to keep track of your patients by identifying when a patient is due for a follow-up visit.

Any brand of filter can be tracked. Information is never shared, but you will always have access to your own information for current and archived cases.

The VCF Track app allows you to:

- Put information directly into the app and view current and archived information any time

- Create reminders for patient follow-up, as well as see the status of your reminders
 
- Have case information at your fingertips, including the type of filter used in each case

- Search patient case information quickly

Additional features allow you to:
•View patient contact dates by urgency
•Make notes to remind yourself about important information
•Alter notification dates
•Maintain patient contact history in one place
•Archive patient cases
