What would give it 5 stars is having presets for certain items like PIP (picture in picture) so that when I used it the same treatment would happen every time so I didn’t have to do the same adjustments over and over again. Would be cool to have a better selection of stickers too. Overall I’m happy with it though. ### 4/5 — Great, but… *2026-08-05, version 4.2.0* I like this app! It’s simple to use and not too hard or confusing to understand. Just one problem: can you PLEASE STOP USING AI?!?!? I hate it. It’s draining our only water supply! Also, vidt was better in general before you started using ai a lot more. The ai sucks butt and improving it would drain your team’s life supply even more. PLEASE find a way to manage this without ai. Please and thank you.* *oh, also forgot to mention a really big problem with the speed curve function. The sound from the video is all so confusingly off from the curve that it basically runs from the footage because the video speed stays the same and/or doesn’t curve in the right places. It’s terribly running my videos. Comme je voyage beaucoup , j’avais pour habitude d’utiliser des bandes son personnelles (paroles / musiques) certaines vidéos ayant un son inutilisable (vent , bruits parasites …) Quand je me suis rendu compte que vous aviez verrouillé l’utilisation des pistes audio son/commentaires/musiques personnelles j’ai arrêté d’utiliser Vdit étant dans l’impossibilité de créer une vidéo correcte. L’utilisation des bandes son utilisateur n’impactant pas vos coûts de développement , j’ai considéré qu’il s’agissait d’une interdiction d’usage de mes propres pistes visant essentiellement à « forcer la main » au passage à la version payante, ce qui est un comportement totalement exaspérant que de plus en plus d’éditeurs de softs dans des secteurs multiples utilisent .je ne suis pas contre les softs payants loin de là ,mais pour avoir vécu qq expériences négatives je suis méfiant J’ai résolu le problème en transférant mes vidéos sur mon PC portable et créant les vidéos avec un logiciel qui me donne toute satisfaction . je crée mes vidéos un peu en décalage mais cela fonctionne. Which makes it disappointing that I have to say this. I loved this app until now, because they did something sneaky. The Audio extract feature is no longer free and is part of the premium subscription. That is truly devastating, that limits so many things to do. I can understand when new features are added that they’re part of the premium subscription, but to make what was already free a part of it too now is shameful. Editing is super limiting, time to delete this app. ### 1/5 — VDIT got greedy *2026-04-30, version 3.8.0* LOOK FOR A EDITING ALTERNATIVE. be warned: After the April update the greedy bags behind VDIT decided that they must hop on the watermark paywall bandwagon as well. Absolutely slimey and unbelievably disgusting. Shame on your team for approving of this, I never reviewed anything on the App Store before but you deserve every negative criticism you get. Think twice before your AI response system vomits the same copy paste “sorry we inconvenienced you” as if it has nothing to do with your decisions. Now they’ve moved the best part to the paywall which was custom sounds and music. If you’re looking for a place to make fun edits or funny videos go to VN Video editor or something because these people have clearly lost the plot and sank into the depravity that is capitalism. Dann übernimmt die App nur sehr zögerlich die Änderungen zb Text Bild etc. Sehr häufig hängt die App in der Benutzung oder setzt Änderungen nicht um. Schliesse ich das Projekt und die App und öffne beides wieder ist alles „geänderte“ da lässt sich aber nur schwer verzögert abspielen. Bis zu dem letzten Update war ich mega begeistert- jetzt nur noch genervt und ärger mich dass ich dafür nun bezahle und die App nicht mehr wirklich nutzen kann. Oder aber ein 20 Sekunden Projekt braucht sage und schreiben 2 Stunden!! Bitte bitte macht das rückgängig- die App ist jetzt eine absolut Katastrophe. Update 2026 - jetzt kann ich trotz der bezahlten Fassung nicht mehr alles nutzen weil ich ein altes IPhone habe. Ещё раз приносим извинения. ### 1/5 — Deletes Your Projects: DO NOT USE *2025-03-20, version 3.2.1* This app has major errors, resulting in deleting your projects. This is the second time now, I’ve created a project, and finished editing it. Then, I click the “save” button, then go “home” but when I return to the Home Screen and then try to re-enter the project, it says my videos have been deleted (they have not!). So I tried redoing the project (with the same video clips) and the exact same thing happened again. I am 100% sure I didn’t delete these files but the app thinks I did. So the video is basically gone and needs to be redone. You cannot simply replace the clips with the videos that were there - it just puts the full video there. Total disaster and waste of 6-8 hours of my time on these.
