## What is Vector Rally?

Race on graph paper. One dot at a time. No reflexes — just nerve, geometry, and momentum.

Vector Race revives the classic pen-and-paper game of Racetrack. Each turn you adjust your velocity by one notch in any direction, and your speed carries over. Accelerate too greedily and no amount of steering will save you from the wall. Every corner is a bet you place three turns early.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Tap one of eight dots each turn — your momentum decides where they are
• No coasting: you commit to accelerating, braking, or turning every single turn
• Touch a wall and you crash: you stop dead and sit out as many turns as the speed you carried in
• First to cross the finish line wins

A RIVAL WORTH BEATING
The computer doesn't fake difficulty. It calculates the genuinely optimal line and plays it — on Hard it never gives a turn away, and beating it means racing perfectly. Medium and Easy concede the occasional turn like a human running wide, never like a bot driving into walls.

27 TRACKS, HONESTLY RANKED
From a four-turn drag strip to a multi-screen marathon: sweeping curves, hairpins, island slaloms, tooth mazes, a five-door labyrinth, and a spiral whose finish sits at the eye of the storm. Every track's difficulty rating comes from its par — the optimal number of turns, computed by the AI itself.

BEAT YOUR FRIENDS' GHOSTS
Every win records your run. Share any track with your best run attached — your friend races your ghost live on their board, corner for corner, and sends their answer back. No accounts, no servers, no waiting for your turn.

BUILD YOUR OWN TRACKS
Draw walls, place the finish, and the game instantly tells you whether your track can be raced and what par is. Generate huge multi-screen circuits with one tap when you want something nobody has ever driven.

TWO PLAYER
Same couch, one screen, alternating turns. The oldest way to play, and still the best trash talk.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-08-26

• The menu scrolls as one page, tracks grouped by difficulty tier, and the
selected track keeps its edit and share actions
• A clearer race HUD — one card per racer, move hints tinted in your colour
• Haptics: feel your moves land, your crashes bite, and your wins
• The win card shows your turn count, names who got boxed in, and
  celebrates new personal bests
• Sharing hardened: a malformed track file can no longer crash the app or
  overwrite your records
• Editor fixes: resizing the board keeps its border, and pinch-zooming can
no longer draw or erase walls
