## What is VectorAI?

Do you need high-quality vector graphics quickly, such as a muffin or cake for the party invitation, a stack of gifts and balloons for the children's birthday, or landscape images for the intro of your vacation film? Of course, you could create these yourself, for example, using Logoist 5 – or you can use the brand-new VectorAI and simply tell the app via text input how you want your graphic to look. Just provide a few terms, and VectorAI will take over the work as your very own personal graphic designer!

VectorAI is the first and only "On-Device" vector graphic creator for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Download the desired vector styles (ClipArt, Minimalist Clipart, Scenes) directly from the app, and then the entire image creation takes place directly on the device. All data stays on your Mac, iPhone, or iPad and is processed exclusively locally – not transmitted to any external server.

After entering descriptions like "Snowman," "Bowl of Soup," or "Cute little dog," artificial intelligence generates a high-quality vector image within seconds. You can either save it directly or export it for further editing in a vector program.

### 1/5 — It’s a start, but need much improvements

1.  Allow me to delete history images (press and hold, select delete or export, or swipe to delete).

2.  Quick delete of a previous text description. Starting a new vector AI requires me to select the entire prompt and use the delete key. 

3.  Allow me to Save to Photos directly as an Export choice. 

4.  Improve the models, e.g., I ask for “an eagle flying off from a stream with a fish in its talons” and all I EVER get is an eagle?  Is my prompt to sophisticated for your AL models?

5.  Let me choose the size and aspect ratio of the canvas. The world is not just square vector art!

UODATE:  are you listening. Your model is way broken!  I ask for “a photographer hunting an elusive buck for a cover photo” and every render includes a gun!  Then I specifically say “no gun, just a camera” and the next render (hell, every render) still has the character holding a gun. 

UPDATE 2:  it’s a real shame for an otherwise excellent company with excellent software that this app is so bad, but worse yet, is no developer acknowledgement.

This program is just opening already created and on file vectors, nothing I asked by writing the prompt was created, just opened random files. They are ridiculously scamming users by making believe they are creating, but in reality they are just opening what they already have on record.

### 1/5 — The most disappointing app I’ve ever purchased

And I’m being *very* generous with “disappointing”. Other people might call it “fraudulent”. This should’ve never been released by the developer, and should’ve never been approved by Apple.

I really don’t understand what happened. MacFamily Tree has always been janky, but as weird as it is it mostly does what it says on the tin. VectorAI is in a whole other class.

Leider sind die Ergebnisse nicht besonders gut. Die erzeugten Bilder haben häufig nur einen geringen Bezug zum eingegebenen Prompt und die Qualität der Vektorgrafiken lässt auch zu wünschen übrig. Wirkt insgesamt wie ein „Proof of Concept“, an dem die Entwickler kurz danach das Interesse verloren haben.

Ganz nett, als Anfang, aber im Vergleich zu in der Cloud verfügbaren Modellen doch nur sehr eingeschränkt nutzbar.
Der größte Nachteil ist, dass man nicht iterieren kann, indem man die Ergebnisse kommentiert und Änderungen anfordert. Man muss immer quasi von neuen starten. Da die Berechnung recht lange dauert, ist es so mühsam zu einen guten Ergebnis zu kommen.
