Schade! ### 1/5 — Badly out of date? *2018-04-11* Downloaded this to try to view offline maps; the online map viewer seems to work okay, though pan/zoom is pretty annoying (not smooth, zoom isn't properly aligned), and offline maps appear to be broken - map download appears to work, but then when you go to display a map it says that it's corrupt. I suspect the map format used by mapforge (the data source) has been updated but that this app has not. ### 1/5 — Tzz *2017-07-29* 5 Euro bezahlt und trotzdem Werbung und die meisten Features noch gesperrt mit der Begründung ich solle für 5 Euro die vollversion kaufen. Über iTunes sind die Maps von openandro und Freizeitkarte zwar vorhanden, ich kann sie aber nicht öffnen. Needs updates as last one was 2years ago... ## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Läuft perfekt *2018-09-30* Das importieren von GPX Dateien klappt gut und das Outdoorhandling auch. ### 5/5 — Excellent Offline Maps *2018-09-22* Edit: this app now replaced by the even better “Cartograph 2 Maps Lite” I'm reviewing from the point of view of a walker who wants to store free maps for use offline on an iPhone. Vectorial can use the excellent OpenAndro (iOS) maps which show contours and footpaths. A huge plus is that you can download, for example, the WHOLE of Great Britain As ONE FILE with a single click and it only uses 1GB of storage. This combination of contours, detail, ease of downloading and small storage makes it at present , in my mind, unbeatable compared to the 5 other apps which I investigated for their free offline mapping capability. EDIT: At present, you must go to the Openandromaps website in a browser, download the required map, unzip it, then tap that file to open it in VectorialMap Lite. The Tiramisu 2.0 Style (from within the app) looked best to me. It's worth that extra effort to get contours! EDIT 2 : The developer has produced a new version of this app which has a LOT of improvements and extra features. Its called “Cartograph” (You can at present download Vectorial for free to test its mapping capabitities - note my first Edit - but Cartograph is the one to buy!) ### 5/5 — Excellent *2017-06-02* This simple app allows you to use free openandromaps stored on your device (no signal needed). They show footpaths and contours and are available globally. They use surprisingly little memory and are the vector type so are "stretchable" so no more downloading millions of tiny tiles!
