But 20 dollars a month just to check the buy rating isn’t worth it to me. All the other “premium watchlists” are useless to me. They used to have a 5 dollar version that was only to see the ratings of stocks but they removed because it now only says 2 options 20 or 69.99 I think ### 2/5 — Ruined by customer service *2024-11-14* I’ve been a subscriber of this app for a few years now, and was honestly been happy with my experience. However- a few weeks ago, the app said my subscription had expired despite Apple showing an active subscription and me being both paid current and midway through a billing cycle. Contacting VectorVest customer service regarding this wasn’t much of a help… I was told to call Apple, and that they couldn’t help me at all because I was not subscribing through VectorVest. No technical assistance was offered. What I was told made it sound like they had no record of my membership at all. Confused, I ask for a manager. I then get 3 different stories; first I get put on hold and after a few minutes then told he’s not in and I can leave a message. I agree, after a brief hold the rep again cuts back in and tells me this manager’s voicemail is having an issue and I have hold again. Representative then returns again and says the manager on the phone with a customer and will return my call - which took 3 days, he left a very quiet, almost unintelligible voicemail noting my account had actually been fixed but I was offered little to no description and was offered zero compensation for the weeks of service I paid for but lost. My account was restored, but I ultimately lost out on subscription time as I immediately cancelled through Apple and due to the experience I had I will no longer use this service. ### 2/5 — Lack of information and no one to contact. *2024-10-29, version 1.41* I wanted to give this a try but after waiting almost a week to get more information, no one seems to be available to get more info from regarding the product. ### 4/5 — Rip off *2024-09-29, version 1.41* They will charge your account but then doesn’t login. I wasn’t impressed so I canceled my subscription. The next year, After being cancelled for seven or eight months they automatically billed my credit card. I tried the service for three to four months but ended up paying for two years. Not a good deal for me. However- earlier this week, the app functionality has quit, and it says that I am no longer of subscriber… everything on my end shows that should. I was charged, Apple shows an active subscription, and my next renewal isn’t for another few weeks. Contacting customer service regarding this wasn’t much of a help… I was told to call Apple, and that they couldn’t help me at all because it’s an Apple issue and I don’t subscribe through them directly. I ask for a manager, I then get 3 different responses; first I get put on hold and then told he’s not in and I can leave a message. I agree, after a brief hold I get told his phone is having an issue and hold again. Representative then returns again and says the manager on the phone with a customer and will return my call - it was never returned. I go ahead and contact Apple, and I’m told I have to contact the app developer. Basically I paid for a months subscription and got about 2 weeks with a free runaround. Easily the worst experience I’ve had with any subscription on the App Store or anywhere else. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Lou West *2025-07-25, version 1.44* I’ve dedicated 6 weeks of vacation time to explore most of the stock apps in the App Store. Many apps are cashing in on the AI revolution claiming to produce stock signals with astounding accuracy. I found them to be too expensive for what they offered, and what they offered wasn’t great. This app is a whole education as well as stock signals, but you decide what to buy and when. I personally like being in control of my trades and learning to do for myself. I also enjoy trading in general. Just doing what I’m told would take the fun out of it. This is an extremely powerful app and also has a YouTube channel with market wraps at the end of trading each day. It’s a community, and most importantly, there are human beings you can call and they’ll help you with any issues. Most of these apps do NOT provide a way to contact support aside from email. I put in the time, and am glad I did. I wish I just went with this from the start, but I’m not one to shrug off due diligence.
