Day to day functionality gets me what I need. However there is no way to link Zelle with the app and it’s extremely frustrating when trying to make online transactions or bill payments. If this was fixed I would easily give a five star! ### 4/5 — New version needs bug fixes! *2024-01-07, version 8.0.4* The coustomer service I get from Vectra is always 10/10 that’s why I rate it so well, but the app is such a pain. It gives me an error code when I try to log in with biometrics, and now it’s saying invalid credentials when I try to log in manually. I know my password is not invalid. This causes overlapping information as well as forcing information to be displayed in vertical string of characters. It’s difficult to determine, because of the problems mentioned above, if there are any improvements to the previous version’s clunky navigation. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2022-07-07, version 7.0.19* The upgrade has caused multiple issues. Check images are much smaller and more difficult to read and verify photo quality. My first check deposit with the new software took three photo attempts; the first two stating the amount entered did not agree with the check photo although I was able to confirm that it was correct. Having deposited dozens of checks using the former software without any such issues I rated this version two stars. ### 1/5 — This app is not nearly as easy t use as the old *2022-06-11, version 7.0.19* I cannot get photos ever on the first try and then you have to take both front and back again ### 3/5 — Alerts *2021-12-07, version 7.0.13* Looks beautiful and easy to use. Disappointed that there aren’t any account alerts - ie, balance threshold - to set up. That’s a huge oversight. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bank Elsewhere!!! *2026-06-13, version 8.0.35* I cannot emphasize enough how much I hate this bank…. And the list continues to grow on a regular basis. They put holds on my checks for weeks at a time, they don’t even accept transfers from one bank account to another same day. I did a Zelle transfer from my primary bank TO this bank and they returned it. Only reason I have to use them is because of my HELOC loan which they make it sooooo hard to take out my own money AND pay back MY OWN money that the frustration and inconvenience has been so bad that I’m doing a CASH advance from a credit card to pay this off and be rid of them. On top of that, they wouldn’t even reimburse me the annual fee of $25 after returning my check 3 times. It wasn’t about the month, it was the ethical gesture that would have made a difference. They said sorry it’s too high for them to credit back. Run… RUN…. I historically don’t do business with banks and this catastrophe has cemented my stance as to why. ### 1/5 — Hate new upgrade on the APP *2025-06-27, version 8.0.19* The pages in each accounts are completely all confusing and appears cluttered. Please change back to the previous APP settings. ### 1/5 — Get it fixed! *2024-11-22, version 8.0.17* After the most recent update, I can no longer do an internal transfer of money from my checking to pay my credit card. Wells Fargo, here I come ### 1/5 — New app not working with iPad *2023-11-16, version 8.0.0* My normal routine business banking using my iPad is now making me use my iPhone (not good). ### 1/5 — New “improved app” difficulty *2023-11-16, version 8.0.0* I continue to have difficulty with this revised app. A couple of days ago I opened the app and received a notification to click on a button to take me to the App Store to download the new app. I clicked the button, it took me to the App Store where it informed me the app could not be found. The next day my old VectraBank app updated so at least I can get into the app but now I no longer have facial recognition. I only have a personal account with Vectra, no business account so I do not need to reset up my business account as I have read in other reviews. I use several other financial institutions apps and this is by far the most frustrating. ### 1/5 — Vectra can never get things right when it comes to their banking app. *2023-11-15* This newest ‘upgrade’ is a mess. The old app insists on being upgraded, but when you try, it says the ‘app isn’t available in your country or region’. So the only way to get it ‘upgraded’ is to remove it from your device and reinstall…sigh. Then if you use the app on anything other than your phone, the app is locked in the portrait display mode, making it unusable on your tablet or iPad. Who want’s a cheap looking app displayed sideways when you go to use it? Heavy sigh…Hopefully one day Zion/Vectra will get this sorted out and actually ‘upgrade’ to something better. **Developer response:** We apologize for the problems you have experienced with our app. We have corrected the issue with the forced upgrade error message and will be correcting the issue with iPad orientation in a future enhancement. There’s an option to ‘export transactions’. I want to be able to just skim through my transactions, not generate more crap on my phone.
