MUHURAT FINDER: 16 EVENT TYPES, A FULL YEAR The finder covered four event types and scanned 90 days. It also searches further. If nothing qualifies in the next 90 days it widens to a full year automatically. This matters most for Marriage and Griha Pravesh, where a barren stretch is normal and the next real date often sits just past the old cut-off. And if a whole year is genuinely empty, it shows the closest alternatives with the rule each one breaks, rather than an empty result. ACCURACY • Windows falling inside Rahu Kaal, Gulika Kaal or Yamaganda are no longer shown as auspicious. Because each of those periods spans more than one muhurta, several windows a day were previously marked favourable while sitting inside one. • Abhijit is marked as contested rather than settled when it falls inside Yamaganda — you see both facts and decide. • The planetary hour is now anchored to true local sunrise. It could previously sit several hours out of position depending on your timezone. • Tithi, karana and yoga now say when they end and what follows. Only the nakshatra did before, and the tithi is what most fasts and festivals are keyed to. • Prashna period dates no longer display a day early in timezones west of UTC.
