## What is Vedo?

Comelit has now available the VEDO APP which allows management of the control unit of the VEDO series and the images from the cameras connected to them. 
You are now able to access your Comelit VEDO intruder alarm systems from anywhere, view live images from the cameras, send the commands for the system management like : 
- Arm / Disarm  the system: Select Operating  Scenarios,  AREAS 
- Reset siren / Telephone Calls
- Generates alarms: Intruder, Emergency, Fire 
- Enable / Disable Outputs: Lights, Gate 
- Notification of Events 
- Check system status: zones, areas 
- Analog and IP series 100 and 700 Camera Management : Live, Pop Up Alarm, video streaming recording, taking screenshots on request, browsing and sharing of multimedia saved contents
- Pre-alarm video recording for IP cameras and one analog camera 
- Added log memory for Events and Alarms
- Added Proximity Key Lock
In addition to the above, Comelit VEDO APP through video pop up alerts you in case of an alarm, so you can immediately check if it's a real event or false alarm and send the appropriate commands to the control unit. 
The Comelit Vedo App also allows to make call and local audio communication (intercom) , between smartphone and tablets connected to VEDO system.
Through this app you have also an interface with the Comelit home building automation through the use of the Serial Bridge device.
VEDO APP works exclusively with intruder control units belonging to the Comelit VEDO series from version 2.2.0.
New features are available if connected to Vedo main unit from version 2.4.x.

Since a month I cannot connect to my Vedo when my smartphone is on 4G. What changed or do I need to use another app?

Servicio tecnico horrendo, no funciona nada, todo errores de ellos, 3 años con problemas, me dicen que ellos no atienden al usuario final y me hacen pagar a una empresa externa de alarmas para solucionar problemas de programación, 400€ cada vez que vienen, y sigue sin funcionar, el comercial MARCO OCTAVIO Es un estafador, en cuanto cobran no quieren saber nada, CHORIZOS.
Estoy hablando con un abogado la posibilidad de denunciar a estos ladrones modernos.

Sto ancora aspettando che mi chiami il tecnico indicato dalla ditta Comelit;che mi faccia sapere se si può aggiustare il videoregistratore che ha avuto un problema durante un temporale; alla mia chiamata ripetuta non ha mai risposto ed ha trattenuto il videoregistratore che è mio comunque se anche fosse stato non riparabile ; SONO PASSATI DUE ANNI; senza contare gran parte dei problemi segnalati nelle varie recensioni ( ovvero crash; app x iOS inefficace cioè funziona solo in Wi-Fi;praticamente assistenza inesistente ecc ecc) . Per carità non comprate questo prodotto

Ho ormai da anni caricato questa app sui miei portatili Apple ed ha sempre funzionato. Ora ho problemi:
- su iPhone funziona correttamente;
- su iPad vecchia generazione funziona correttamente;
- su iPad Pro dopo aver scaricato l’ultima versione di iOS 14.2 l’app si avvia per un brevissimo istante poi si chiude definitivamente. 
FORZA SVILUPPATORI, SISTEMATE IL BACO !!!

Nonostante il problema sia già stato segnalato da diversi utenti e l’azienda si sia impegnata a risolvere a “breve”, sta di fatto che al 16 dicembre non è stato ancora fatto nulla e l’app continua a non funzionare. Per cortesia, aggiornate.

Dopo l’aggiornamento a iOS 14.2 l’APP va in crash
Risolvere please!

Dopo oltre un anno siamo fermi alla versione 2.6.0 e non sono stati apportatati miglioramenti tanto attesi e tanto richiesti.
Mi avete scritto che avreste considerato la possibilità di inserire il Face ID ... evidentemente non ritenete importante una funzione richiesta da moltissimi. Delusione pura... dimostrate di non avere attenzione verso il cliente che, credendo nella vostra azienda, ha speso tanti soldi fra domotica , video sorveglianza e sistema d’allarme. 
Meritereste meno di una stella. 

Resto in attesa di una na risposta da parte di Comelit che oltretutto non ha ne migliorato ne integrato nulla dalla mia ultima recensione!!!

Migliorata !!!
Finalmente non va più in crash come prima, ma tutt'oggi non è stato introdotto il Touch ID per velocizzare l'inserimento della password. A parte la prima richiesta di password, dove appare la tastiera grande e numerica formato calcolatrice, per navigare nei sotto menù, quando è richiesta la password, la tastiera è in formato qwerty con la difficoltà che ne consegue, visti i caratteri piccoli (iPhone 7Plus). 

Per le 5 stelle aspetto il Touch ID e la ricezione delle notifiche anche con l'APP chiusa. 
Grazie ancora per il miglioramento apportato!

L'APP funziona abbastanza bene ma alcune critiche per permettere agli sviluppatori di migliorare :
1-L'APP va in crash parecchie volte sia sotto rete Wi-Fi di casa che fuori casa con rete mobile;
2-Dopo l'aggiornamento alla nuova versione iOS spesso non esegue il comando e bisogna rieseguirlo. Se non si è in casa bisogna sempre ricontrollare per essere sicuri;
3-Ho creato semplici scenari e scenari vincolati a condizioni ed entrambi a volte non vengono eseguiti o stranamente eseguiti in parte;
4-Preferisco il più delle volte gestire la centrale VEDO tramite il serial bridge(sia in casa che fuori) piuttosto che con l'APP perchè funziona un po' meglio, ma anche tramite il bridge capita che non esegua il comando.
P.S. succede anche con l'APP COMELITVIP  (icona manager) che bisogna ripetere il comando;
5-Sarebbe opportuno poter selezionare la durata della sessione, per non inserire la password infinite volte lasciandoci liberi di scegliere il livello di sicurezza più appropriato, e di scegliere di inserire la password o meno mentre si naviga nell'APP passando da un menù all'altro;
6-Pur avendo impostato la ricezione delle notifiche e lasciando l'APP in background non le ricevo sempre ... a ogni modo nn si potrebbe evitare che l'APP sia per forza in background ?;
7-Sarebbe "ESTREMAMENTE COMODISSIMO e UTILISSIMO" integrare il Touch ID piuttosto che inserire infinite volte la password durante la stessa sessione.

ripeto quello che scritto tempo fa!! ma ad oggi ancora niente aggiornamento
Applicazione okkk ma gli aggiornamenti molto ma molto lenti!! infatti non riesco ad usare l’applicazione con il mio iphone e se non viene aggiornata l’applicazione purtroppo dovrò cambiare antifurto!! posso avere qualche numero di telefono per poter parlare con qualcuno in merito al mio problema!!
