The dashcam completely lost all recording of just before, during, and after the accident. A total of 15 minutes. It was completely useless when it was needed. ### 1/5 — Can’t connect camera to app *2025-10-05* App doesn’t even let me connect to the camera, as soon as I connect to the camera wifi, I go back to the app and it said “Connection Failed”. When I went to check footage from a specific date when I was nearly in an accident I was shocked to find that nothing from that day was recorded, only a few random hours before. This device has too many issues!!, making it unreliable. Now I have to save up and find a better option. ### 1/5 — Everything BUT….. *2025-02-09* My son was in an accident and everyone was thankfully ok. Some minor stuff but, otherwise they are fine. I had set my intervals on my dash camera to a 3 min loop. When I checked the video of the accident it cut out at about 2min30sec. right BEFORE showing the other intoxicated driver pulling out right into him coming from the opposite direction, causing a head-on collision. Where is the rest of the video? Other than that tiny, minor, little, minuscule oversight, yeah, camera’s great. We’ve been using the camera all day and it’s been keeping all the clips in my phone. The quality is great on the videos, I just wish it would show our mph. Overall very good dash cam app! ### 5/5 — Good features, easy setup *2023-07-29, version 1.0.4* Up to today, I had still been using a 1st gen dash cam bought 10yrs ago for ~$500, which is just a plain ol dash cam with no app access or controls and you have to connect it via usb to a computer to access files. This new V100 cam I bought for $19 has so much features that I am very surprised at the price. I’m very impressed that everything is controlled via the app, i.e., resolution, mic, download videos/images. Veecar App was easy to install, and I got my confirmation code sent to email right away during setup that I was able to enter. Don’t know why others had trouble with receiving code. Files are in one place on the micro sd card where I can pick and choose to access and download right from the app. Cam was easy to mount, and app was a breeze to set up. Overall, I think it is a great value! 5-stars!!!!! ### 4/5 — Not bad *2026-03-21* I really wish the cam had like the speed on the video that would really be helpful can this be implemented in an upgrade or need to get different dashcam? Anyways another thing is with connects and disconnects often I have 2 one for back one for front but I’m on 1 wifi maybe it’s getting confused it like switches back and forth every so often But overall I’m happy w it been using over 2 years been lucky enough not have to use for accidents.
