Bring Sierra into the stacks! Mobile Worklists is a multiyear Modern Library Awards Platinum award winning application that provides real-time access to material handling tasks in Sierra, all from your handheld device. Access Sierra while away from your desk, and watch your productivity increase as your reliance on outdated paper processes and trips to the desk decrease. Mobile Worklists includes the following capabilities: • Create a list: Create a list of records by scanning items using your device's camera. Send those records to Sierra directly, where they can be turned into a review file that can be updated via Global or Rapid Update. • List management features: Keep track of your projects more easily. Sort your lists by Name, Date, or Item count. Move items from one list to a new or existing list. Star entries in your list to keep track of items you want to follow up on. Check in items on your list. • Import a list: Access item record review files and your library's Title Paging List from Sierra, and work with them anywhere. • Email your list: Share lists with others - whether they be patrons, students, faculty, or colleagues - by sending them via email. • Title Paging Lists: Take your Title Paging List into the stacks and check in items on the list in real time! No more printing long lists, or duplicating efforts due to the time lag in getting back to the workstation to update the paging list. Requires Sierra 5.1+ • Check In Items: Quickly check items in and find out where they need to go. • Check Out Items: Check out items to patrons when you are working remotely. • Count Use: Update statistics for items that have been used within the library. • Inventory: Scan items with the app and identify items that may be missing from your collection. Check for materials in the catalog to find available formats, locations, call numbers, edition info, MARC records, and item details including barcodes. Access Mobile Worklists Item Level Features for catalog items. Copy or Send a Vega Discover search result link to an email address How to configure: For Mobile Worklist users that have Vega Discover, configure your Vega Discover base URL (home page link) in the Mobile Worklists Settings > Vega Base URL.
