This app has potential, but at that price I will just google search as I go. Please reconsider your cost price and this may get more users ### 2/5 — Very little data available in the UK. Needs a longer free period. *2024-04-23, version 1.17* In theory, this is a handy little utility when shopping. But, since most products have a full ingredient list written on them, it's only a convenience. Except that it's not (in the UK, at least). A three day free trial is enough to use it on a single shop, and I scanned a couple of dozen items. I found no items with developer provided information. So I don't know what that looks like, and can't assess the quality of their information. I found two items with crowdsourced information, and those had only a couple of votes each. One, containing honey, had a "yes" and a "no". I made a few votes myself, so spent more time on my shop that otherwise. And I learned exactly nothing from the app. Give people a longer free trial, or lower subscription prices, and perhaps they'll upload more data and make the app useful. ### 1/5 — SCAM *2024-02-17, version 1.17* La scarichi gratis, poi appena la apri ti chiede di pagare 17,99€ non si può neanche utilizzare. They make us pay 20$ straight away, the free trial DOESNT WORK, and their instructions to get a refund is a complete fraud, it doesn’t work. I subscribed & began exploring the app to find there’s barely anything to it, all I could find was 6 recipes, the scanner, & a “vegan diet” description with information I already knew. Perhaps I’m missing something here, & I just can’t find anything else, but I doubt it. I kept the app regardless bc I mean I paid for it, plus I planned to use the scanner to make sure products were truly vegan if I wasn’t certain. Probably the worst thing about this app is the fact that when you scan a product it does find the exact product, however IT DOES NOT TELL YOU IF THE PRODUCT IS VEGAN, it simply asks you to thumb up or down if you think it is, and you can see how many people thumbed up or down on the product. I guess if your product has a significant amount of thumbs up, maybe you can trust it? But I’m not going to. I was under the impression this app would tell me for a fact whether products were vegan or not, plus include vegan recipes, but with the measly amount of 6 recipes & a vegan “opinions” scanner, I feel like I was completely mislead to believe this app was much more than it is. I would love to know if I am in fact just missing the rest of the recipes, but regardless I have already unsubscribed, I don’t see myself using the app anymore either. I thought this would be something worth investing in because I could simply scan & know if a product is vegan, including some recipes too but this app unfortunately doesn’t deliver almost anything it promises.
