## What is Vegas Bowling?

Hungry for cash, casino hustlers have fled the moribund Vegas Strip and now haunt the humble bowling alleys of North Las Vegas. 

While Lisa and Beth seem nice (maybe too nice), and Doc in his grandpa cardigan appears benign, you best beware. About five frames in you will wish you were back on the farm with the seed money still in your bib overall pocket. Because you ain't just bowling now, baby -- you're Vegas Bowling.

Getestet auf dem iPad 2: das Game macht Laune, denn der Spielverlauf ist kurz und schnell. Vier unterschiedlich starke Gegner stehen zur Auswahl, gegen die man je nach deren Stärke um verschieden hohe Geldbeträge spielt. Der rote Faden ist wohl, denen am Ende die Kohle abgenommen zu haben, sich also hochzuleveln. Viel mehr Möglichkeiten ausser gegen sich selbst zu spielen gibt es dann auch nicht. Das Besondere hier, die Bowlingkugel hängt vor dem Wurf in der Luft und wird mit dem Finger ähnlich dem realen Schwung erst zurück und dann mittels Wischbewegung nach vorn auf ihre Bahn gebracht. Spin ist dabei durch bogenförmige Wischgesten möglich, eine gerade Bahn entsprechend durch eine geradlinige Wischgeste. Die Kamera zeigt die Kugel beim Lauf auf ihrer Bahn, kurz vor Erreichen der Kegel geht diese dann in Großaufnahme. Mir scheint, dass die zuvor gezeigte Bahn aber nicht mit dem Punkt beim Auftreffen auf die Kegel übereinstimmt, aber vielleicht täuscht das auch. Wie dem auch sei, im Vergleich zu all den anderen Bowling-Apps wirkt der Wurf auf mich als Leihe endlich auch mal realistisch. Kann übrigens jeder vorher mal ausprobieren, denn es gibt 'ne Free-Version zum Testen. Hier in der Kaufversion sind Preis/Leistung angemessen und verdienen meine Empfehlung, daher 5 Sterne ;-)

Great game , I like the way I can throw a hook ball, brings back memories when I bowled league. That why you should design an app for bowling with friends that would be cool to play against your friends. Just saying!
