The words are simple and the slideshows move nice. But you only get part of them and the rest you have to purchase. Fair enough, they are more than enough to try it out. Most of the flashcards are pictures, with a few drawn instead. Once you tap one you hear it's name and the sound it makes. Also for the drawn versions you get a quick animation. All in all, it's an ok app, but it doesn't offer anything special. You can choose to select what the child hears but you can't overwrite the sound or spoken name with your own ### 3/5 — Eh...has potential *2015-01-18, version 1.0* I liked the idea and the photos and sounds were decent. The rest of the app seemed cluttered, awkward, and needlessly complicated. This is a kid app and the format should be kept simple and straightforward. When a child is using the app the image should be clear as possible with no menu distractions. ### 3/5 — Very ugly, but still some pluses *2015-01-17* Like in the title of this review, it is very ugly. If you wanted kids to use this it would have to be revamped looks-wise. I do like the concept a lot, and having the pictures of real automachines is a plus. I also like the fact that it has the sounds they make. Not only does it do the four wheeled machines we are all used to, it does planes and blimps as well. Though it's a great concept, the looks of the app really brings it down.
