It worked half decent for a few weeks. The security cameras wouldn’t stay connected and then the base died. Veho has NO customer service that will respond to emails. Don’t waste your money! Quick set up also fails with iPhone not responsive to stated Cave xxxxxx net. Tried to contact Veho via several routes with no response whatsoever. Not happy at all A’s was quite optimistic on purchase of the camera. Will update this review when and if Veho decides to contact me and can resolve issue. ### 2/5 — Del *2024-07-27, version 2.6.4* App is as good as any, BUT as for Cave well if your in trouble with any of their stuff then no ‘support’ is what you’ll get. I had to reset my whole cave system, which was working well for a couple of years, due to a new router. Everything else connected fine, but as for my two cameras, nothing won’t connect at all. Contacted cave & after a couple of days they asked a couple of questions which I had already answered in my original email, then absolutely nothing. Good system on the whole, but any faults with anything then you are in your own! ### 2/5 — Completely useless *2021-03-07, version 2.5.9* Created an account on their main website and it still does not let me log into the app ### 3/5 — Please update for new IOS *2022-10-12, version 2.6.2* Not optimised for latest IOS and can’t see whole screen for camera and go back to old date ### 3/5 — Touch ID broken in latest version *2019-12-04, version 2.5.5* App is good but latest update broke the Touch ID. ### 4/5 — Easy to use & powerful, but doesn't implement Critical Alerts *2020-01-26, version 2.5.7* Bought a Cave for my workshop - a couple of window & door sensors, a camera, a couple of PIRs and an outdoor siren and it's great... but it doesn't (yet?) implement iOS' critical alerts feature so alarms going off while you're away overnight won't notify you while your phone's in DND. This should really be implemented for a security app (that's what the feature is for). It should also be possible to set it to send an SMS *and* a push notification if the alarm goes off - that would mean you can set the SIM number to a VIP contact and have that come through at least and would also work if you have little or no data (eg while roaming). Instead it sends SMS notifications only if the push couldn't be sent - no guarantee that it was received, or will be read, for hours.
